Well I was simply comparing my level 40 Mark of the Wild. But if you want to compare those gained at 60, then it would be a 285 armor, +12 attributes, +20 resistances, +35% on top of that for Imp MotW.
As far as Curse of Agony and Corruption goes, Corruption deals 666 damage over 18 seconds. Assuming that's damage every 3 seconds, 111 per 3. Curse of Agony deals 1044 over 24. However Druids have remove curse, so it's less of a large issue. The SW:P does 852 over 18, so about 142 every 3 seconds. Then Druids have Insect Swarm (if resto specced to it) which deals 324 over 12, so 81 per 3, and Moonfire which does a base of 189-221 with an additional 384 over 12, so 96 ever 3. So if both of those DoT's are up they deal 177 per 3 seconds for 12 seconds.
Druids also have access to Tranquility, which at 60 recovers 1470 to all nearby party members when channeled over 10 seconds. Regrowth is a 2 seconds cast (so .5 seconds more than flash heal) which heals 1003-1119 to a target, and an additional 152 health every 3 seconds for 21 seconds. I'd personally rather wait for the extra half second
. However of course it takes up mor mana as well.
Of course though I didn't reply to this thread with the original intent of saying that Druids are better healers than Priests, better tanks than Warriors, and better DPSers than Rogues. I simply wish to state that when in a good group setting they can fill in for quite a few areas where they may be needed, and can give great backup healing to a party where they might already have a main healer Priest.
And although your guild may not use Druids as main or offtanks, there have been instances where Druids have main tanked Onyxia, MC, and other high end instances.

Well I just picked WoW and installing it now in the laptop, I won't be able to go apeshit with it till I get home for the holidays.
However, I'm starting on the server Darkspear just to hang with Pyro and Southpaw.
However, if there are better servers let us know and we can switch. Shisho... lead the way if you please.
I'm thinking of either Warrior, Theif or Priest, would love to play a dwarf.

I still say we need to figure out a faction and server to start on
. I'm itching to start leveling up a new character to join an EG guild
.

Well we have to figure out whether we want to be Horde or Alliance, if we want to play PVE, PVP, or RP, and probably if we want to join a Low or High population server
. Low population servers can make it tough for players to find parties, but High population servers can have long queue times just to get into the game during peak hours.

I'll get back to you on it.isse-pisse-päron-pung wrote:Ho.. Perhaps Shishio you could guide me a little on playing a specced Ballance druid? ;p (What I should spend my talent points on etc.)
I decided to not go anything with feral. It's just too damn boring so I wanted to try something new.

Alrighty, here is the deal. Southpaw, Pyro, and myself are playing Alliance on Darkspear server and Horde on Wildhammer. On both servers, we are on the less populace side, which will make our raids more fun.
We may change server as time goes on, but we thought it was fun seeing lvl 50's and 60's undead and more come through newb-land near karanos(sp?) and dwarf newb-spawn place (cold-something or other). They owned them pretty hard, till we made the hike to Ironforge and called up the troops. Never seen a high level (57) warlock before, pretty cool looking.
Anywho, I'm still pimping my lvl 8 dwarf/rogue out, Shisho, thanks for the advice.
If anyone else wants to join, we are more or less gathering around Ironforge. So let us know, would like to see some fellow forum members up in there.
Shisho, any words of wisdom? You care to join us, or wait till we level up a bit first?
