she's dead... you fool dont make fun of the dead, or they will haunt you.
Curses over the internet. That's amazing. Voodoo magic all over again.

But its better than one of thsoe sticky pads that they get stuck to and when you try to pull them off cause you dont like watching them struggle, you accidentally pull off their tail and ear...

somewhat similar... a very large wolf-spider (probably 2-3 inches from head to ass) got stuck on one of those in my attic. it was carrying it's egg-sack which also got stuck. there were literally hundreds of those little spider-hatchlings all over the sticky trap. it was surprising to see how far away from the egg so many of them had gone.

We have wolf-spiders in Utah, but they only get up to an inch in size.

i'm in ohio. usually the wolf-spiders around here don't get larger than an inch (two to three if you include the legs.) it also doesn't take that large of an egg sack to hold hundreds of hatchlings (i've no idea if that is the correct term for newly hatched spiders)
the size of the spider was another thing that surprised me but we have a huge attic with lots of rafters for perfect webs. i live right in front of a decent sized woods also so the warms house is probably a target for a lot of insects during winter.
totally off topic but... one thing i think is totally cool about my house. in the family room, along the wall facing the backyard, we have dirt trench that actually connects with the dirt outside the house. i guess the outer wall either goes down far enough or there is heavy-gauge wire fencing protecting from animals. but we never have to water the plants planted there.
Fucking rats to Wolf Spiders. The wonders of Off the Wall.
