Aeon Flux DVD boxset is out.

Post by Femto »

I think there was an Aeon Flux thread a while ago, but it's not worth digging up.

Well, the Aeon Flux boxset is out in the US at around $27 to, no doubt, promote the movie that's coming out (is it out already?). It's a steal with that price and a must buy if you ever liked the show.

Discuss.

The series was a usual for me and Ayanami. The movie looks like garbage to me. Theorn does not look like Flux in my opinion, and the guy playing Trevor Goodchild is not a blonde. I think Aeon Flux's unique artwork was only meant for the cartonn world. A real film was a horrible idea. I mean Theorn does not seem cold and calculating like Flux of the cartoon was. Now the boxset would be nice, and for only $27 dollars for childhood memories? Sold. The movie however will have to pay me $27 dollars to even consider going.

This looks pretty sweet. I enjoyed the show a whole lot back in the day. And also the shorts on Liquid Television. Will have to waltz on over to Best Buy soon and pick me up a copy. Best Buy does have this right??

Went and saw Aeon...not bad, but I'm thinking more of a matinee type movie than full price...but then movies are really expensive near a big city when you grew up in the middle of nowhere.
