Yeah, it usually is Ippo's "fighting spirit", which keeps him going. Now, about Buz's question, I understand where he's coming from. Here's how I see it. First of all, you can't just come right out with your trump card. It only makes sense, to try everything else first. However, waiting till you're nearly finished, which is usually how people do these things anyway, isn't always the best idea. Yet, I can understand trying the original Demsey first. Okay, so why not use the Evolved Demsey on the second try. Well, perhaps he did try to use it. It's a very difficult move, which puts a lot of strain on his body. Perhaps he just didn't pull it enough, and that's why he ate Sawamura's counter. However, notice that he didn't go down from that. I think what Ippo and Kamogawa mean, is that he was able to pull his momentum enough to turn a deadly counter, into almost a normal right straight. You see what I mean? So, by the second time he tried the Evolved Demsey, he knew he needed to pull it more, plus he was being fueled by determination. As for Sawamura, I wouldn't be surprised to see him make it to his feet, only to fall back down and lose the match. It wouldn't be the first time we've seen it, and Ippo's step in on the counter-counter, looked pretty dangerous. However, even if the bastard does manage to take up a fighting stance before the count finishes, my money's still on Ippo.

Laik thats what i have trying to tell Buz.

Its not like he can whip out the new demspey anytime he wants yet.

He took the first big counter cause he knew the punch thanks to Vorg. Sawamura said "this guy knows this punch,he has seen it before"
Ippo should really really be grateful to Vorg for knocking him out.

Yeah its willpower that has been holding him alive.

Chap 498 is out now, wonder what ippo will do if Sawamura isnt out before the ten count.

Yeah Sawamura is going down,him being desperate is nothing compared to a guy that is desperate cause he has so many people to not disappoint.

Oh, that was nice. So the match is finally over, and the better man was the victor. Now Ippo has found his counter destroyer, rendering even the greatest out boxers useless. I wonder if even Miyata will be able to stop him!

I cant stand that Miyata is before Takamura in the poll

I understand though that Ippo is nr.1 he has evolved a lot in last couple of months.

I dont think Ippo needs the new demspey if he only makes his defence better. Cause nobody can take his power,liver blow,gazelle punch can finish anyone.

Also maybe he will come up with a new move, i love HNI most when Ippo trains for a new move.

Maybe they will go to the training camp soon, i love it when they go to a camp

That wont happen but he will have big problems in the coming months including his fight against Eagle.
