SILBER IS IN THE GAME!!!!

Sure is taking them a long time to get unlocked ><.
Anyway:
These are the moves that have made it from Buriki ONE into KOFXI from what I've seen in the videos and pictures. These are Buriki ONE move executions.:
1. BD - High attack dodge.
2. B to F - Spinning back fist.
3. DF - Sliding shin kick.
4. Hold the FMB (forward motion) button to F - Strong mid kick (If it connects press F again for a spinning kick.).
or it could be
Hold the FMB button to UF - Strong high kick.
5. Dash to F - Somersault heel drop (Knocks opponent to the ground.).
6. Hold A+B (guard) to D to UF - Rising Uppercut. (Gai will drop to the deck then leap up with an uppercut.)
7. While an attack is coming at you quickly DB to F. When your opponent is grabbed, press F again. Gai will climb up the opponent and break their arm.
Modified from the neo-geo.com FAQ.
That's 7 moves right there. Then he has the missed throw move(from the video) and his DM makes it 9. I'm guessing his successful throw from the video is just a regular throw. Can't wait to have Ramon and Gai on the same team.

I guess it's safe to say that it's official, huh?
That's cool. I've only seen him once in action, but him being in the game makes more sense than the Kizuna characters.
Please note that I am not bitching about the Kizuna characters being in the game, it's just that with NGBC out there it seems like they could've picked more contemporary characters to put on KOF.
But fuck all that shit, this game is going to rule regardless!

They would be pretty normal if they would tone down their damage and hit points. Their moves are not cheap at all really, it was just a little tough going up against the AI. Gai > Sho in terms of difficulty...because the AI kept dodging all my shit. The fall move Gai has is a set up for a rising uppercut. When Gai did his arm break I squeeled like a little girl.
Sho is awesomely animated and has a boomerang super where he throws a 3 boomerangs at you. His moves were cool. He has some kind of special air attack move using kicks. He does use his boomerang for his moves. I didn't see much of him due to the fact that I owned him. He has a LDM where he rushes at you but I didn't let him hit me.
Sho and Gai would not break the game if they were selectable. Jyazu and Silber on the other hand...would probably be another story. I haven't seen them yet though. I think you have to do some crazy shit to get to them.
Reports say that people who do get to Silber get owned. I haven't heard anything pertaining to Jyazu matches though
I never got to fight Adelheid.
Seeing Shion was awesome too...she's very well animated and has some crazy ass moves. She changes fighting styles. One style she uses a spear and the other is just bare handed. The spear disappears like some kind of magic spell and falls from the sky when summoned. So it's pretty cool how they handeled the problem of where they would put the spear. Her animations are about as smooth as your shit after a big helping of castor oil. Damnit I love the way she summons her spear.
Magaki is by far the cheapest motherfucker. He makes himself invisible...shoots pink shit all over the place and spams it like their's no tomorrow. IF you manage to get close to him he pops up with a barrier of pink. He also shoots out these ghost ball looking things. Even if you hit him he can still shoot out those things; cheap man. His LDM will make you go into an epileptic fit. I only fought him 3 times before I gave up. I don't even think I would have been able to beat him using service. When I get used to him maybe I'll be able to whoop his ass., but that was my first go at him. Igniz and 2002 Rugal ain't shit compared to Magaki.
I'm not scrub either. Maybe it's just because he's new...but Mukai was new and I murdered his ass first time I fought him.

Not as cool as Gai, but cool nonetheless.

Cool.
The thing is, my problem with Sho in this game is that he wasn't redesigned to fit within the KOF universe. The Ikari warriors and Athena blended in nicely despite being from completely different genres because they were redisigned to fit in the game. It would've been easier to do that for Sho considering that he's from a fighting game, but they just copied and pasted his character into KOF and I'm not sure it works that well.
They could've kept his appearance, the red/white motif, his headband, maybe even his boomerang and made him fit in KOF better. He just seems so out of place to me.
Just a mild rant I guess.

SPOILERSSSSSS...I broke the big image somehow so bare with me.

LOOK who's back.
ROSE looks like she get's destroyed or is under some kind of mind control.
At least Adelheid looks like he has a purpose in the game now.

Update:
I defeated Magaki today on my 4th try using some of the tactics Vice Vecta (Cyberfanatix) mentioned. My characters were Shingo, Ryo, and King...and finished his ass off with STYLE.
I only had Ryo and King left at the end and they both had a little over 1/4 life left. Magaki had 1/8th life left...or a little more. Shingo was long dead. Anyone that has fought Magaki knows that one of his regular pink projectiles can knock about 1/4 of your life off...so I was scared.
So here's the story:
I did alot of the damage with Shingo. I was spamming qcb + B and when I got close enough I would mostly do B, hcb + D. When Shingo died I used King and landed a D, df + D, HCB + D the first time he went invisible. Then Magaki went invisible again after I had switched to Ryo since King took 3 hits from his pink shit. So when I felt like he was on the ground I Ranbu with Ryo and CONNECT...ok so here's how the finishing touch went my friends.
Ryo: qcf,hcb + D about midway I Quick Shift then with King: D, df + D, HCB + C, qcbX2 + C. Finished with over a 20 hit combo.
Update #2:
How to Fight the Midbosses
(Notice: K.O = Finish each character / FINISH = Finish last character in each stage)
Gai
Use a Leader Finish x1 in first 3 stages
Hayate
Never DOWN in first 3 stages, use Leader Finish x3
Silber
Never DOWN in first 3 stage,use Leader Finish x1 Super K.O x6
Jyazu
Never DOWN in first 3 stage Super K.O x9 (FINISH + K.O)
Adel
Didn't fill any condition above
That's pretty legit. I'm going to go test it out today or tomorrow. It's not as hard as I thought it would be.

I think this video will answer your question.Femto wrote:I'm sure you've seen Vanessa's infinite and I was wondering, couldn't you just Safe Shift from it?
I mean, the skill bar fills over time so even if you don't have enough bar to do it when it starts, you should be able to tag out in time, right?
Can you tag out while being juggled?

Yes. He's a time released character. Gai Tendo is selectable too and is said to have an ending that makes him part of the KOF story. Adelheid is going to probably end up being the hero of this saga.
