I dont want him to fight without a purpose iether but he has big reason to fight them. I really like when he meets an apostle they make him feel so much not happy feelings but still. Like when he found out the kushan king was an apostles he made a face that i havent seen since Guts dark days.

I know he wont dump his group but he will go away alone sometime soon cuase its his style.

Nah I dont think he will leave his group behind. Maybe he´ll leave Caska in elfhelm, with someone else that can tend to her there.
But Serpico, Schierke and Farnese will definetly tag along further.
That kid however (Errr senile) might die soon.

Nah i rather see Serpico and Farnese die instead of Ishidoro cause he and Puck brings comedy to the manga. Puck i miss seeing when he isnt playing a clown.

Guts i really hope goes away alone soon cause its not really a good ide to bring the group with him if he is gonna go after Ganeshka. He will be more protecting them instead of fighting to kill.

I miss his lone wolf days, im not saying he will dump them permantly but he should go away and take down some apostle without having to be a babysitter.

Good point there. Of course I want to see him fight of course I want to see him fight demons from sundown to sun up. But that does get old after awhile.

This manga is constantly reinventing itself. Possibly Guts could gain command of his own army. Even Get his own Country before Griffth, He could go the linear route and leave everyone to train with SK. We just don't know whats going to happen and thats what makes this Series the best. If he doesn't fight another apostle for whole Volume I wouldn't mind because I know everything will be done correctly.

Actually, if you think about it someone who can control the wind (Serpico) and someone who can use magic (Shierk) might be extremely useful when fighting an opponent who can turn into fog. I mean, what better way to fight fog then with wind? And what if Shierk can use magic to force Ganeshka to take a physical form again? That would be really useful (I admit the rest of the party would be pretty much dead weight).

Also, in regards to the Berserk armor, Guts does seem to be gaining more control over it. He's fought several times since the beach, and it hasn't taken him over. For it to take him over, (if it did, and I kind of hope it doesn't since it seems kind of cheap for the armor to be the reason he wins) it would be because he was already in a really hard fight, i.e. fighting an apostle or mutated elephant. Given his current focus on healing Caska, the only reason I can see him fighting an apostle is to give his companions a chance to escape (I agree he doesn't care about most people very much, but he has shown that he cares about them).

The witch is the only that is useful for Guts in a fight against an Apostle cause she can bring him back if he loses control of the armour and her power can be alittle help. I dont think Serpico would have a chance against the apostles we have seen that work for Griffith or Ganeshka.

He is smart and all but he doesnt have anything that can hurt them.

I don't think Guts will ever "dump" his gang or let alone Caska for any given amount of time in terms of lone wolfing. He may leave them to go fight an apostle so they don't get hurt/in the way, but he will never leave them. Because he said he wouldn't ever again after Caska ran away the first time. Although she's not really Caska anymore...if I could remember the name that the whores called her I would call her that.
That's right!! Another pointless post by me bitches!!! HA!

These chapters are like crack to me. When I finish one, I just can't seem to patiently wait for the next one. I never thought I'd be this into a comic book. It got me thinking how much I appreciate the work being done here. Do you guys take donations? I'm wondering if you have a paypal email set up or something.

its been said that it is impossible to predict the direction berserk will move in... and i whole heartedly agree... however i dont think guts will train with skull knight or ditch the party... i could see them being seperated by a turn of events not of their own making... i dunno... i can't say anything that hasn't been said before... gotta love this forum

Well maybe he´ll go and kill an apostle that gets in their way when they´re going for the ship, so everyone else can get to safety on it.
Then Roderick (The spy) will see his shot at taking Farnese as a hostige so he sets sail leaving Guts behind.
He gives Farnese too the Kushan king, so he can use her as a lever to get her father to surrender to him (Cause he will need every man he can muster against Griffith).

remember that Guts has said (I still want to type Gatts) that he'd never leave Caska alone again... He's been through that phase and didn't like who he became (the beast)....

As for people to fight apostles with him.... if the other apostles have a problem with the Kushan lord I'm really not sure how Guts wouldn't be instantly annihilated....

But Serpico has shown more and more ability with the wind...plus he's fast and very smart. Him if none of the others could help. Although I think Caska were she to be awoken might be able to help. She has the brand as well and thus could operate on some level as an almost equal against the apostles... while she's not or wasn't near him in strength or swordsmanship she was pretty badass in her day. Give her some magic, maybe have an alteration to her being because of the events of the eclipse (after all maybe theres a lingering effect of added power from being raped by a god)....

who knows. I can't wait to see.
