What if we have a song guessing game, with actual mp3s?
OR is that too far out there for you guys?
If it's just a matter of webspace, that can be easily obtained.
No.
I agree. There's a lot of reasons for that, with some songs being illegal to download and stuff like that. Not a good idea, posting copyrighted songs on a public forum.

Yea i was thinking about that but wasn't sure if this would be considered to be illegal.
We'd just be posting it for a short while and then we'd take it down from our webspace. I'm pretty sure it is legal to download an mp3 for sampling purposes as long as you delete it within 24 hours. Plus, if you browser supports it, you don't even need to download the file directly to your pc. You can just stream it.

Although sampling music isn't illegal, the same argument stands that you could go to your local music store and listen to the song there. It's still illegal even if you delete it within 24 hours, as long as you obtain it to your hard drive, it's illegal. Even if that 24 hour rule is implemented, would there be someone who bothers editing their post and removing the song? Very few, I gather. I won't do it for them.
I guess streaming the song from yahoo or something is relatively fine. As long as the website's credible.
