Anyone catch it?

I thought it was pretty good for a first episode. I've read a few of their strips in the newspaper but it never really did anything for me. I kinda like the characters but the anime style of kind of a turnoff for me, it's doesn't fit the show's content IMO.

Yeah, it's on Adult Swim. It's on Sundays at 11:30 I think, not sure at what time reruns are at.

You know Femto I was going to post a topic on this but I decided against it. I loved this show! It was freakin' hilarious!! "Oh well...I shot a nigga!!" ^_^ OMG I can't wait for the next episode. "You can't make us be somebody we're not!!" "The HELL I can't!!" Oh God, I love this show. This and Minoriteam...well...actually that show was kinda wierd but I still liked it ^_^

EDIT: Reruns are on Saturday night and I dunno what time...I wanna say midnight (Eastern) but I'm not sure....Saturday is enough for them to know though...make them watch it all!!! muahahaha!!!

TheDrizzit: Why didn't you? The lack of topics and people's unwillingness to post is what's killing this forum. It's the same threads getting bumped over and over and I don't even want to read them anymore.

I didn't want to get flamed for starting a topic. Despite the relatively new "tameness" of these boards, I'm sitll a little wary of posting new topics on the fact that I don't wanna make anybody mad. I've seen what they do in the past. (Don't ask me cuz I can't remember specifics) But yea, now I will open myself up a wee, wee bit and post more topics as they come to mind. So yeah, how MUCH did you like it femmy? I liked it thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much ::holds out arms:: Hahaha I loved the cheese thing. And also, you think the white guy was the cop from Freakazoid? He sounds it.

Haven't seen that in ages...

I thought Boondocks was pretty good. The episode kinda had no plot though, just a setting and the characters. It's not necessarily bad, but I'd have to see how other episodes play out.

As for the flaming bit, if people read the FAQ and follow the rules, there's no reason for flamings to happen. It sucks really, I think a lot of people think that way and are afraid of a little internet bashing. Look at some of the threads halfnhalf started, completely weird/trivial stuff but at least people had something to talk about.

This forum has turned into a place where the same threads get bumped over and over for way longer than they should. It is pretty boring at times to see the same threads again. Most of my daily ventures in this forum has been reduced to "mark all topics read" sadly.

In fact, I might start a thread about this.

Well I wouldn't really call it being afraid, it's more like having enough respect for yous guys and not wantin to risk pissing ya'll off. ^_^ Yea, the preview for the next episode looked pretty funny but I agree with ya on the first episode. I still liked seeing that kid say "Say hello to ma little friend!!" and blasting the guy out the window. Muahahahaha...

Well I liked the show, and didn't like it at the same time.
I agree that the anime look on it doenst quiet fit the bill.
I want it more to look like "family Guy" or "American Dad".
But if they made it look like that they would probably just be sued (Is it correct spelling off the word??)

Well that's the way the comic strip looks like. I have an entire book of the comic strips. I was really excited when they announced the show. They have the character designs down pact, but the thing is I wasn't expecting it to look so American Anime-ish. It's still cool though. It was a good first show. I hope the next one to be even better.

I've read boondocks in the past i found it very funny for a strip that tackles something so controversial such as racism. The 1st episode was nice love the bit where grandad tells Riley "*n word* hush". Hope the show turns out to be as good as the strip

.....and yeah... im not to comfortable with explaining what bukkake is....but i will stand in the circle
