They call the girl "Fricka" on page 11, and "Flicka" on page 14...
BTW, "flicka" is swedish for "girl".

Whoops, that would be my typo, which slipped through the filters. I checked my translation file and saw the inconsistency. Somehow I only wrote it with l for that one page, as far as I can tell :) . I mostly just tossed a coin and went with r when I transliterated it, but I didn't know that about the Swedish meaning. I wonder if Miura knows that as well, or if it was just a coincidence of sound on his part when he used that name.

Also, I agree that the dragonslayer looks better in the prototype, but I feel like the current version of it suits Guts better. It's not so flashy or aesthetically pleasing, and it's blunt as hell, but it's strong like nothing else, and has enough presence that I've heard several people say it could be its own character.

Maybe like Soul Edge in the Soul Blade/Calibur Series the Soul Reaver fronm Legacy of Kain etc. the sword will fuse with Guts hellhound demon one day (stupid theory ahead). ;)

I like the brand in the neck better, this was to big for my taste.
Think about how much that brand would bleed when a god hand appears.. "Someone call the bloodbank" :kekeke:

Yeah the actual position is much better. A neck is always good. ;)

Would be a little lame to in the way that he cant show you that hes bleeding if it wouldve been on the torso, just a "faggy" grin on his face or something instead each time a god hand appears.
Now you can see the blood starting to ooze out off it :P

Actually Starnum got that with his keen eye, but I think I saved over the file he gave me when I was checking my editing. So I guess that's kind of my fault too...

I like the original brand better. The prototype seems more royal.

Eldo does a damned good job editting(better tha most), I'm not complaining if he missed a few spots.

Thanks to everyone who helped release this.

Yes I would have to agree also.

I wonder if Giffith will use the brand as his flag after he becomes king?? You never know!!

But I guess the brand is sort of like a secert between demon kind and Guts and the people he tells about it.

I dont think Griffith cares much for the brand symbol cause it a mark for the branded not for God hand's

His flag will always be the the falcon, i mean even as Femto he looks like a falcon.

Although he might use it as a flag to tease Guts.

Heh, thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately, the only editing that I'm proud of is the credits page...

I'm glad that you guys enjoyed reading the prototype.

Yeah, I think the new Brand of Sacrifice looks cooler, I prefer the angles. I'm interested as to who this Vana is though. To bad Miura didn't go with it.

I don't know if it's been stated anywhere, but a friend of Mystic's brought up an interesting bit on how the holy symbol for the vatican in Berserk resembles the sacrificial brand. <.<

I just downloaded this release to see that the bulk of my work was overlooked. Eldo owes me that hour of my life back. :P

I just wish he would've waited to have me do the QC until he was actually done editing it. So, I apologize for the lack of QC, but it seems it was out of my control. I was afraid this would happen...but hey, at least it’s nice and clean looking!

Sorry man, but I only copied the pages that I found had changes on it, and the others were quite subtle I didn't even notice. I made some changes on editing to the copy I gave you that I thought were definitely clearer and better, I guess I was being too picky about that. I don't really read what I edit, so I don't really notice anything much. Won't happen next time.

I also neglected to mention that Femto had some contributions to the editing, I totally forgot to add a special thanks to him in the credits, that was also a blunder on my part. Man, I feel empty headed most of the time.
