Guts will surely say something like "That was...a long time ago". (it's only about 3(?) years) He didn't really deny that he was the hawks raiders leader when ishidoro brought it up. The eyes of everyone will surely open up really wide since there is no one in the party to know any of guts past.

That was an excellent ending for the chapter. It's great we "only" have to wait two weeks to see what happens.

Has anyone else noticed how Miura has a thing for eyeballs? For example, whenever some random guy gets eaten, theres always a fang right in his eye.

Yeah, definitely YA's mistake. It's perhaps slightly more clearly so when read in Japanese because the type of speech used is more formal, which Guts has probably never bothered using in his entire life so far.

A great chapter so many things happened, Rodrick acting like he has a chance with Farnese,Magnifico(sp?) being a coward.

And the best thing of all somebody finaly reconizes Guts.

Whats shocked me is that i remember the guy,im not usually good remembering old Berserk characters.

I cant wait to see what happens before or after they get to the ship and how the people in Guts's crew is gonna react in Guts being the legendary Raid leader.

I don't think it is YA's mistake, in that Gut's back is toward the one talking. So you read from top right to bottom right to top left to bottom left and you see the facial expressions, Guts never turned around.

Could be wrong though.

It'll be interesting to see how Guts answers, and how the rest of the party react when they find out. He'll almost certainly have to at least admit that he used to be in the Hawks, since I can't imagine him actually lying (can anyone remember a single instance in the entire manga when Guts actually outright lied? Cause I'm drawing a blank on that one). Also, bets on whether or not they meet the Kushan King on the way to the harbor? And if they do on whether or not Guts kills him?

I see what you mean, but the page before it establishes that the guy is stepping in front of him when he starts to ask the quesiton.

I personally thought Guts was completing his question because he recognized the guy himself.

And yea, I agree with femto, that's exactly what I was thinking because when you see the guys (don't remember his name) foot stepping towards Guts, you see Guts facing him.

Also, I just looked through it again, and you see steam escaping that guys mouth when he talkes, and then you see steam escaping Guts' mouth when he finishes the guys sentence.

Guts doesn't turn around Psi, but you can see his (Raban's) boots coming from his front...so the guy appeared on his front.

Same here, it would be awkward if Guts completed the guy's speech on his own to confess, since he's the type to keep a low profile, especially his past. Didn't really notice that, just automatically assumed that Owen said it.
