Yes, it is overdue IMO. But what I want to know is why no one recognized him as the black swordsman when he first came into the hall. Weren't the armies all over trying to find him at one point?

That guy at the end of the chapter was one of the two main supporters of the Band of the Hawk back in the day.

It's really great of Miura to leave stuff to be worked on in the future.

Back when I watched the TV series, and later read the manga, I didn't know what was the point of those two. Now many years later they've resurfaced and might actually have important roles. I think the other guy (Raban?) appeared in earlier chapters too.

In any case, I'm looking forward to seeing Ishidoro's expression when he realizes that Guts is the guy from the Band of the Hawks he admired.

Raban was also in a volume surveying a town that had been affected by the plague.

But having Owen (that's his name Nazgul, in case you wanted to edit it in your translation text) recognize Guts is definately going to lead somewhere interesting. Especially if the rest of Guts' party finally discovers who he is, since in a previous chapter as well they brought up the Raiding Leader of the Band of the Hawks and talked about how great he was but couldn't remember his name.
