I loved Doom... good memories...but I could never get into Quake the same way. I know the games are similar but Quake was never really that much fun IMO.
And I am a fan of old computers in general, and also of pixelated software graphics!! (just not in movies)

That's a good thing, nowadays games got good graphics but most of them got nothing more. The old games are still fun even if the graphics are really bad.
