Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior

Post by halfnhalf »

The greatest martial arts movie ive ever seen. I mean, sooo crazy cool. Crappy story, but the action just makes up for it. I thought martial art movies are all the same, Ong-Bak just reinvents the idea of martial arts in movies.

heres a little taste of the action

I love this movie!

My friend from Thai showed me this movie six months ago and even though i didnt understand whats the story was since the movie was a botleg version from thai,it was great. The guy shocked me with he how he fought.

Im hoping he becomes our new Bruce Lee and even he doesnt i will get all his movies.

Agreed. I particularly liked the fights during the main characters second visit to the fight club.

There are rumours that the main actor will do a Drunken Master III movie together with Jackie Chan.

Yeah that fight was crazy. I loved the finishing move.

I hope Danny the Dog will be different from those crappy Kung Fu / Hip Hop crossover movies Jet Li does in hollywood. It's a french production and I read some very good reviews for it.

I liked the fight with the afro guy who moved real fast. He got his ass kicked.

As far as I know the script was written by Luc Besson. The director is someone else. It's release date is 02.02.2005.
I just read that Danny the Dog was the production name. Its USA release name will be Unleashed  .

Here's a link to a frech site. In the Video section you'll find some English trailers.

Jet Li. Fist of Legend is a remake of Bruce Lee's Chinese Connection, I think.
