After all it's the thought that counts. Just give me money and I'll get things myself. Easiest way ever.

My 20th birthday is coming soon and it's the first time after 5 years that I'll celebrate it again.

I havent celebrated my birthday sinc i became 18 and im 23 now.

In my culture they celebrate when you become a man aka 18 but after that nobody cares about your birthday.

I don't really celebrate my birthday either. For once, I don't feel it much of a celebration...another year of my life went by without much use...
and my friends usually forget about it, and I don't bring it up.
Even if I did, my b-day is in the exam-period. I usually have an exam on the very day, or the next day. Nice!
but I usually get a chocolate cake at home...

Well it´s almost the same with me, when I have a birthday We in my family usually go out and eat at a restaurant (Dads paying of course

) at the upcoming friday.
It was more before I was 18 I (And my brothers) always had a party, with lots of booze (On dads account ofcourse... again

).
But I guess you grow away from that

I am not the party type but after a day of work I suddenly thought about it and got in the mood. There are people coming from all over germany, I know some of them for 5 years but never saw them. I-Net Friends you know.
