You should watch this show its really good, I am enjoying it so much.

and I though Id let the people here know about this who actually like Live action Dramas, cause it is worth watching..

This is the drama created from 2channel. Supposedly a true story ripped from the message board.

The story is pretty typical and sappy as it's about the relationship between an awkward geeky guy and a sophisticated woman.
What sets it apart is that Yamada seeks the advise and support from 2channel, so it's full of references from internet and otaku culture.

If you do not enjoy this, I question your very soul.

lets be honest i think the word you are looking for is "soap operas"... not my bag but this one looks interesting. For those who dont know many soap operas are marketed to young men in japan.

Asian dramas are much better than American ones though.

They certainly are a little more realistic...but I still don't really like them. Personally i'm an OC fan...jk

But my extent of Japanese drama was an entertaining kids show where there was a fight between guy dressed up as a cow and a guy dressed up as a pig. Now that was fucking hillarious

This is no ordinary drama/soap/whatever you want to call it. Anyone who watches anime, reads tons of manga, etc should watch this show, whether you're a real scary otaku or just a "normal" japanophile. It's hilarious, and I think well done. I don't normally watch dramas myself, but this one blew me away.

Keep in mind though that you shouldn't expect realistic acting or anything. Over the top acting is typical for J-tv especially comedies, so that might turn some off. But mark my words, if you overcome your prejudices, this show is hilarious, and maybe even touching and inspiring for all the single closet otakus out there
