Video playback is great if you're educated enough about computers to handle movie conversions and whatnot. There are programs out there that handle this quite efficiently though, so that shouldn't be a problem.
You absolutely must buy the 1GB memory card though.
MP4 is not the greatest compression codec out there IMO but I could be wrong. In any case, you won't be able to fit much in the 32MB that comes with the value pack and you'll want the extra space anyway. Don't buy the 512MB one, you'll regret it when you realize it's not enough space.
well, if you dont have a spare 2.0 usb cable lying around ur house from a previous electronic product, then you pretty much been living in the stone age

its definitely not worth buying the 2 gb memory stick dude, there shouldnt be any reconsideration for it. im sure in a year, theyll make like some 5 gb memory stick duo and the 2 gb one will prolly drop to like 100 bucks
Very true, and look on ebay for mem sticks they are a little cheaper. I know a guy who got a 512 memory stick for 30.00 with shipping, but I think he lucked out. 1Gb for about 80.00 now get them while they last.
I went on midwerks on my friends psp!! ^^ kinda cool.
