Guts might have a family now but none of them are as important to him as Casca, other than his love, she is a memory to his lost friends.
Shierke might help with the spirits but Casca is a much bigger carrot for him to not give in to his demon.
Offtopic:
Me not drinking bear has nothing to with Islam, i wouldnt drink even if i wasnt a muslim cause the smell disguts me and i dont drink when the smell makes me sick

I think that Casca is the only string binding Guts to reality. If wasn't for her, he would let his inner demon take control, since he loves swinging his sword, as we all know. And as a monster, he has more chances of killing Griffith.
Yet, he won't do. I don't think Casca will die. Eventually, they'll end up together. Dead, if they must, but together.
And off-topic - I don't like any kind of alcohol-drinks. Beer, Vodka, wine, anything - the taste of alcohol is despiteful, for me

I dont care about anything you guys say, Casca will die Miura told me in a dream.
I was 5year old and I still remember it, I drank it almost completely and cryed my ass out in front of everyone laughing at the party(my bros birthday) and now Im worst about drinking, I only drink water or juice, anything else like with alcohol or liquor makes me puke or I get tears because its too hard for my body(tongue, throat,etc...)

Well in a one way you could say, what will Guts do after he´s killed Griffith and gotten his revenge.
Maybe he don´t wanna remember all the horrible thing´s that has occured, but Casca is with him so he can´t forget anything at all... What will he then do??
Or maybe the Kushan king just takes Casca as a hostige to get Guts to act as his bodyguard so he can atleast put up a fight with Griffith and his Band

Griffith needed an enemy to save the people of Midland from, if there was no bad guy then the people wouldnt know the difference between the kushan rule and Griffith's. How does that saying go... you cant know happiness unless you know sadness... or something like that.

Thank you sir, may I have another

Knowing how horny for power Griffith is and how much he likes to play the hero. He wont show before the right moment. But if he doesnt hurry up,who knows mybe the kushans will be gone thanks to the dragonslayer

With Caska dead the Story would probably end pretty fast since guts would loose control and kill everyone until all his blood is drained and all his flesh destroyed. by the way do berserkers even loose their hunger and thirst? I mean then they would last about 3 day before dying...

Since love and fear can hardly exist together, if we must choose between them, it is far safer to be feared than loved.
