Good news for PSP owners:

- Capcom announced a new PSP action game called Irregular Hunter X, which seems to be an action game based on Rockman X, the game is scheduled for a winter 2005 release in Japan.

- Climax announced they will release a PSP remake of the classic Mega Drive / Genesis action RPG Landstalker, the game is currently 10% completed, and the project is led by Kan Naito, the chief developer of the original Mega Drive version.

That is seriously awesome that a landstalker remake is being made. Hopefully that will come to the US.

I hear it's a remake of the first Megaman X, minus Rockman Rockman's gh3y graphics.

I would not give two shits about that game. The latest Mega Man games in the X series have all sucked ass compared to the SNES trilogy. I have not played X8 though.....

I love X1-X4 and if this is a remake of X1 then hell yeah. I hope the Hadoken secret move will be in there.

Same here, X1-4 rocked the house. Awesome games that beat the hell out of original Mega Man. Too bad X5-8 took a shat all over the series. The pics however looked like it was from a remake of Mega Man 1, not Mega Man X 1......

It's two different games, one is a Megaman remake and the other is a Megaman X remake. The screenshots I posted are from the Megaman remake with stupid characters designs, there are no screenshots for the X remake, which is supposed to have normal character designs.

Ohhhhhhh, I see. Well, if I can ever afford to buy a PSP, I will most likely get that one then. I am a big fan of the Blue Bomber.

Well i'm an ultra megaman fan.
After hearing about all the stuff PSP can do with video, music and picture files AND the added megaman goodness I feel i'm going to have to invest in one.
Of course this will only happen after I get another job and save some moolah..

For all those why dont know you can put emulators on your psp if you havent already put firmware 2.0 on. There are many different emulators out there.

Go look at http://www.psp-hacks.com or http://www.psphacker.com

Firmware 2.0 comes with a web browser and change able backgrounds. so it might be worth it but not for me.

I don't know..... I think the new 3D graphics on Mega Man X looks kinda fugly compared to the old SNES version. I am usually not one to fear change, but it just does not look as good to me. I will still buy it of course if I have a PSP by then.

PS - I got Nintendogs for DS, game is interesting....

the megaman x game...if the gameplay is the same then cool...but...it looks like a dumbed down version of x7 and x8

If it is a remake of Mega Man X one, then there will be no playable Zero. They may feature it as a bonus though I guess.

actually they look terrific. whoever told u that dunno how to convert movies for shit. i decrypted every dvd i had and then converted them into 300-400 mb videos and watch them during class.
