They said it was just information or a beta test or some shit that they are releasing soon right??

I wonder what kind of mechanic they are going to introduce in SFIV?

Well Jamma is over with and SFIV was no where to be seen, but there is still the TGS. That will be in mid September. If they don't unveil it there then it ain't gonna happen I guess.

Capcom did show a cool game called War of the Grail...but it's still no SFIV.

War of the Grail video.
http://media.cheats.ign.com/media/769/7 ... ids_1.html

I don't remember where I saw the pictures. The video quality is pretty bad.

On another note here is a video of Virtua Fighter 5....there is someone in there that looks like luchador. That already makes him my new favorite character. The in-game character models and backgrounds look too crazy man O_O. These are mostly beginning of the match taunts by each of the characters.

I was looking at the kick ass KOFXI video and noticed Kensou looks to have a new super also. Damn, and to think I was more excited about NGBC...not anymore.

I remember seeing that game now. It looks very meh to me. Couldn't really care for it.

VF5 however looks sweet as all hell, and I am liking that new break dancing character or what ever.

Holy shit, KOF XI is going to awesome.

Those videos looks fucking sweet. If the rumors of the Atomiswave going into extinction are false, then I might just have to invest in one next year. I mean, Eiji, Duck King and Gai in the same game? This game is going to be underrated/underused character heaven.

The clip of Duck King was freaking on fire for no reason. Break dancing machine.

I just can't wait to get my hands on it. It really does look great.

I wish they showed just a tad more with good old King. But as ya do. I am really pumped for the new characters, I think they look sweet as hell IMO. This game is looking like what KOF 2003 should have been.

The last KOF-related game I played was Art of Fighting.
<.<

I'm a fan of fighting games but I haven't really got the opportunity to play them much. The last fighter I played was Mortal Kombat Deception for the Xbox, I did enjoy that very much.

The speed on King's old DM right before she goes into her new one looks to have been sped up quite a bit.

What is the dream cancel all about? I heard that it's when the player cancels a DM into their LDM. I just want to know if anyone else heard the same.

I noticed that, and thank fucking god to. Her super looks much more reliable in that game. But then again can't really say until I have the game. And also, I coulda sworn I saw the enemy go air born for a moment and then get "caught" by the super. This just means more good things for King. Well at least that is what I thought I saw. I am excited. Some one can correct me on that one any time they please if you notice differently.

I looked at the video again and the first move is just one of her regular special moves which she then super cancels into her new DM while they are in the air.

In the video her stock bar still says 5 (which is the max) until she then supercancels and uses one stock to go ahead with the DM.

Bah! It'll be a year before it's ever even announced to come over here ><. I'll just have to import again. I don't want to get the atomiswave version because they always release extras on the consoles. Like the PS2 version of KOF2002 and Neowave had 5 extra characters. I wish I would have never seen this video now, because I'm going nuts >_<.

I hear ya, how much does Atomis Wave boards cost usually? I would love to get a super gun set up. But it has to be economical. I have to pay off this new computer I got.

The Atomiswave mother board is $350 while newer games cost $700-$1000. Not economical.

I decided to look at the roster and see who the original KOFs are. Just to see who made it this far in the series from the original line up.

Made it

Kyo
Benimaru
Terry
Ryo
Ralf
Clark
Kim
Yuri
King
Athena
Sie Kensou

Didn't make it

Goro
Joe
Andy
Takuma
Robert
Heidern
Chang
Choi
Mai
Chin
Heavy D.
Lucky
Brian
Rugal

IF you want to get technical about it then...

Made it

Terry
Duck King

Didn't make it

Andy
Joe
Richard Myer
Tung Fu Rue
Michael Max
Hwa Jai
Raiden
Billy Kane
Geese Howard

Yeah...I'm bored.

It's just a lame way of jumping into something I don't know with something that I do (know.)

I have always found the KoF series unappealing for some reason. Whether it's because of the graphics, the game engine, or the seemingly bland choice of characters; I don't know. The only character that did hold my interest was a fairly large guy in white pants, with hands outstretched toward the enemy. He had phenomenal grappling abilities.

No Joe? Damnit, I need my "Sexy Kick"!

I happened to be home and played the original "Fatal Fury" on my SNES. I then recalled how incredibley cheap Michael Max is.
