that question shouldn't be asked but yes it is good. There's a new three movie boxset released that has seven samurai in it.
What other movies in the box set?

Good choice. Long movie, but it kicks ass. I actually just rewatched it a few days ago. I myself am thinking of picking up the box set. But its also crazy expensive, so I will probably just rent it and then burn it.

I am a firm believer of buying the movies that are really good. I will only pay what I think a movie is worth, most of the hollywood crap is not worth paying 20+ for the dvd, but its worth renting and burning. That Kurosawa box set is well worth the money. I actually have all those movies, except for The Hidden Fortress, and I paid 30+ for each one. I think if everyone follwed me, hollywood would be forced to make more quality movies.

I actually agree with you on that one. I am a huge fan of pirating and whatnot but there are things that I am a firm believer of supporting. I will probably buyit one day, but now I don't; have the cash so I rent and burn, but I do the same in music. I donwload most crap but when Tool or APC or someone else worth listening too comes out with a new CD i actually pay for it. But like you said most of it is not worth it. Just rent and burn. Hell I actually by the dark horse Berserk releases. Its worth spending money, and I figure if enough people support it, it, they may release more stuff state side, like the game and what not.

That's good, you guys just keep paying for shit when you don't have to, and I'll continue to be a real Pirate. Heh, I just don't get it. I mean there are tons of people out there who are going to pay for the shit anyway. I don't know, I guess it's a nice gesture when you have the money to spend, but I don't. I have to pay for nearly everything else, including videogames. Anything I can get for free, I'm there! Besides, when you've got lots of bills, and very little cash flow, Piracy is the only way to go. I only pirate anime and manga though. I don't really do so with American music and movies. Plus, Japanese people get to watch stuff like Naruto for free on TV. So, I see nothing wrong with pirating it.

I understand that, but I think anime and manga are different. I dont download them cause I dont want to pay for them, I do it because its not available here and I dont want to wait forever for it to be released in the US. Also, Its way too expensive to import the dvds from Japan, and not worth it if they dont have english subs.

Yeah I do the same thing, but I am somewhat lucky since I have a comic shop not far from me that rents DVDs, and they buy alot of imports. I got to see both Hero and GITS2 before they even were in theaters over here. And then I burn them for future use. I pirate alot of stuff though, so I generally try to help out some. With movies though I don't really buy many, DVDs are too expensive, and as far as CDs go I think I have bought a total of maybe 10 in the last 10 years or so. Been getting mp3s since the beginning. Remember searching webpages for them. But games are one thing I do not pay for, unless well worth it. Way to overpriced. I will by GTAs and FFs but that is about it.

Back in the days of suprnova before it closed down it was really easy. Depends on whiich system you have. PS2 all the way. Computer is easy you just download ISOs and then burn them. They often times come with a crack so it doesn't check the CD. PS2 you need a slide card and some program like swap magic. It will also allow you to play imported games as well, and I also believe movies from different regions. You need a DVD burner to do most PS2 games, though some early ones are just on CD. You coudl probably just throw the name of the game and torrent into google and find it now. Have not downloaded anything recently.

Hm, I see. I think I'll just stick to paying for them. I guess that's the least I can do, since I've pirated thousands of dollars of anime and manga. I don't play games very much anyway. Shit, I still haven't beaten Shadow Hearts 2 yet. I'll get around to it though. Damn, Xenosaga 2 comes out in a couple of weeks too.

Thats why I occasionally buy movies and stuff. I have a collection of well over 300 burned dvds, of movies and anime etc. Maybe even more. Series start adding up the discs. As well as a ton of music and a bunch of stuff in DIVX. But I think those greedy bastards deserve it. Especially Metallica, they were good then they sold out, sucked, and sued Napster.

Pre Black Album they kicked ass. And even the black album was good, but everything since then sucked. Kinda liked S&M though. Cool idea. Some metal band was needing to do something like that.

Well, I like almost all of their songs. However, I must agree, pre-black album is their best stuff. “And Justice” is their best album.

Justice was really good as was Master of Puppets. Justice pushed on the borders of progressive rock. Really good intelligent stuff. Proved to the masses that metal was not full of morons, though it does have its fair share, but doesn't everything.
