Here is what's going on in the movie:
A psychologist is sent to a space station orbiting nearby an unknown lifeform. Alien is trying to communicate with humans there in a very personal and interesting way...

nope nope... it is a Russian movie and there is nothing perverted going on

another hint: there is a recent Hollwood remake of this movie and both movies have the same name with the book they're based on (Hollwood remake is hardly based on the book, but whatever)

Solaris from Andrei Tarkovski... movie is really good and the book it is based on -Stanislaw Lem's Solaris- is much better
