Well whatever happens it's going to get good soon. I mean Owen sort of remembered Guts and the nobles already want him, think what it will be like when they hear who he is, but the question is what are they going to offer him in return? As we know Guts don't do shit for free, well unless he likes you and noble don't rank too high on that list. I'm hoping he stays to help(more kickass action that way), I get the feeling he is going to be out voted by Schierke's humanitarian streak(+Evarella) , Farnase will also ask if they can stay and help her family before leaving(+Serpico). So that's 4 to 3 and Guts wouldn't leave behind his family. Do you think with Magnifico and Roderick plans to find new lands(and power) they would be extremely interested in Elfhelm and the powerful allies who live there. Really all I'm expecting is for Guts to make a very blunt statement on how Fucked he thinks the nobles are and then a "well time for us to leave".

i agree. if guts just flipped the birdie at the nobles and just walked away, that'd be hilarious to see how the nobles react to that

Last time I checked, Guts was not knighted by the king. Griffith was.

but weren't all the hawks considered traitors after griffith fucked the princess? so doesn't that at least strip them of their nobility?

guts probably doesn't even consider himself a noble

He doesnt care and I don't blame him. Btw, nothing in the manga says they weren't nobles anymore. Anyways, nothing that I know of.

Well all except when Guts said in ch 120 when Azan asks his name "Sir Knight" and Guts replies something like "I was never a knight", "Guts", "Just Guts".

That's true but you see in the past whenever a n00b translator posted his mistranslated script, they would flame the shit out of him, funny this time they didnt. Its also possible they did this purposely to get back on us or maybe now they lack good translators,i wonder.

Well it is strange that they didn't check it, but seeing as they have suddenly taken down their Vol 30 translations. It looks like they want to check their other one now and make sure they don't look too much of a tit in future. Seeing as they were praising him for his translation, serious egg on face moment.

P.s when you Proof it don't you give the Translation the look over?

Nope, cuz most of the time the translations were pretty much correct and i wasnt excepting them do something this low.I thought they were more mature than Hawks, guess i was Wrong.

I had an evil idea, and Evil-Genius idea: I'm personally of the opinion that we should post our translation on SK.net's forum.

I like the chapter.. Rodericks part really just shows that he'll be open to offering them a voyage on his ship, both for farneze sake and to see if any opportunities open up for himself.. so the nobles are just an annoying background thing which'll at most be an obstacle to be cleared in a few chapters.

Of course, no one knows what miura will cook up.. there is quite alot of potential in the plot right now.. I'm seriously hoping he won't just ignore everything and just leave but he might.

Before you do that, there do seem to be some typos in v2. I'll edit them in shortly.

Image

"With this, you are the master of the imbara bramble, snake is, Farnese."

Image

"I can't be being told that."

The 2nd one isn't much of a typo, just feels odd as a sentence.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The new translations do however give the chapter a much better feel to it. v1 seemed so anti-climatic.

Also, you're not really going to post the translations on the SK.net forums are you? :|

Look guys, there is a reason those typos exist. I guess it's because I wasn't around at the immediate time of desired release. Thus, it was released without me, my fault, but I guess we're going for speed here. I'm doing my best to be around, and we've come up with a few ways to make this even easier. Anyway, Mystic’s translations are awesome, and I can't wait to work with him even more in the future. The dialogue flows better and makes more sense. This will make my job of tying on the finishing touches that much easier. QC is my job...now if I can just get a chance to do it...Anyway, if Psi can help me out here, I'll add the necessary touches to this chapter and it'll be nigh perfect. Yes, releases should be getting even better from now on.

I'm not berating you about them, I'm simply pointing them out in case you weren't aware. It's more an itch then a cancerous wart.

SKnet's vol 30 trans section is still up, it's just members only now. They had a real translation all along, it seems. In the translation section, the old one is labeled FAKE and the new one REAL. And apparently, the people that commented on the fake one were all in on it to begin with. As for not checking the legitimacy of the translation before posting it and looking like a tit well... talk to EG about that

Anyway, good episode. Good to know Farnese isn't leaving. Why isn't Wandering Mystic credited in the scanlation though? He did really good dialogue, and I'd like to see the man uplifted for it.

He is credited, read the 01.png.

He is credited also with the first post here in the thread.

As for SK.net doing that, that is fine. I think it is a bit immature, *shrugs* everyone already knew were we got the translations from. We even credited Saiki in our previous releases before he told us not to. So no more credit page. Now that there is a proper translator, credit page goes back and hopefully no more SK.net translation. I'm looking forward to it being of higher quality. :D

Well, the new chapter rocks, regardless of the few typos. I only got to QC the first version, and then I had to go out of town. Hopefully I'll be able to help to make the next chapter even better though. Shouldn't be to hard with this new idea that Oro and I came up with. Yes, many props to Mystic. Forget SK.net and their games. If Mystic wants to keep working with us, then we don't need them.

He was made an EG moderator last night. A proper welcome thread should be put up for 'em though. :P

Hopefully will work with us on more translations, but it is up to him.

I personally think he is a pretty sharp individual.
