I hope to god he has. How can you be around all these berserk addicts and not even have taken a look.

Psi considers it a personal failing of mine as a human being that I've not experienced a sufficient quantity of Manga and Anime. Thus, I have what I've come to refer to has the "Starter Kit" sitting on a shelf at home. I'm moving through this slowly.Skullkracker wrote:I really feel like asking Killfile sth that has been bugging me for a while:
Do you read Berserk? I don't recall you posting in the Berserk section.
just curiosity
Ghost in the Shell and something to do with a prototype fighter (that more closely resembled something from transformers) were the two films he loaned me. I've got some Berserk sitting on the shelf, but I've also got A Pirate Looks at 40 and Queen of the Damned to finish (both nearly complete).
To be fair, I've done some traveling in Japan, and I've read some Manga in Japan. Unfortunately, I don't read Japanese, so all I know is that a lot of things/monsters/people got killed and a lot of things/monsters/people got to have sex with what appeared to be the best endowed 15 year olds in the world - many with outlandishly colored hair.

hahaha, that's what I thought.
I also take it easy with manga and anime, 'cause most of them are shit, but Berserk is...well...ermmm
edit: I mean it's like...wow...sooo...hmmm...it's sick but I read it anyway. See the anime, it rocks!
and Karas rulez! <--see that too
(hmmm, those are the only that I know)

n00b status accepted - at least as far as Berserk, which might be why you never see me posting in that forum. Once I get a chance to read some of it you might get my thoughts on the matter - though I can only juggle but so many plot lines at a time. Ann Rice and Jimmy Buffet command my literary attention at the moment.
Of course, this is "off the wall" so really, wouldn't a Berserk flavored post be off topic?
Since we seem to spend a fair amount of time batting about history and politics over here, I'm well qualified to moderate/post/etc in this form.
By the way -- anyone notice that neither of the gunmen above is actually AIMING their weapon? That just struck me as odd.
