Thanks for the all the work you guys go through! I do have something to point out though, which I think is pretty important. I read the raws, and noticed that the EGs ending was pretty horribly mistranslated.

on the 18th page, when Guts starts speaking to Farneze, instead of saying "I came here to get you because we need your help", what he is really saying according to the raw is rather more like "This is where your family is, the world of the nobility that you are familiar with" (Koko niya omae no oya kyoudai ga iru. Omae no mishitta kizoku no sekai da)

Then, on the next page (19), he doesn't lamely say "Will you come along with me?" at all. He says something like "Is this the end of the line for your journey?" (Koko ga omae no tabi no shuuchakuchi ka?) To which she correctly replies "No"

Page 20, on the right panels, it doesn't necessarily say "I realized that this group isn't the right place for me", but rather "Inside this cage of stone I finally realized this is not the place for me to return to. It is a place I already set off from a long time ago" (Kono ishi no kago no naka de youyaku wakarimashita. Koko wa watashi no modoru basho de wa nai. Mou mukashi ni tabidatta basho na no da to)

Then the rest of the page, instead of "Such a castle of stone I know so well calls for me again. Now is the time. I'll just miss you from time to time. That's all" she says "I was just feeling nostalgic, so I tried stopping by. That's all" (Tada natsukashikute, tachiyottemita, sore dake desu)

I didn't mean to be a prick or anything, but it is completely different from the english that was released, no? In the Japanese, it is pretty clear Farneze is going with Gutts and leaving the nobles. I hope this makes the chapter seem less bizarre and abrupt.

I'd be glad to help out. Normally the translations worked pretty well, it's just this instance where I was completely blown away by the difference in interpretation.

Wow, that's pretty interesting. You should definitely talk to Nazgul if you want to help us with the translations. That really does make a big difference. Heh, I'm just the QC guy, but I want to apologize to everyone for this error. Also, I noticed some of my notes were also mistranslated, so there are a few grammar errors as well. I'm going to talk with Nazgul about this, and I personally think we should do a re-release. I can't guarantee this, but we'll see.

Yeah but if you look it was a newbie who did SkullKnight's one. If you're going to use their Translations you should wait for "puella" or one of the other normal tranlators to do it.

Nazgul, I was looking over the raw, and I saw quite a few differences. I'll write something up and PM it to you sometime tomorrow. It'll take me an hour or two, and it's late over here.

Luckily it was mostly an action chapter anyway, and the most important thing was the ending. Nevertheless, a lot of the chatter in between seemed almost completely unfaithful to the original, so if any of you thought that people were saying strange things or were a bit out of character, that's why.

I dunno...I kind of thought it would be cool if Farnese stayed with the nobles. She could influence political decisions regaurding the new bank of the hawks if she stayed behind but this ending does make more sense

Hmm.. Did anyone else pick up on the whole Rose and thorn theme, that Schierke was using and how reminiscent of the SkullKnight's Coat of Arms it is. I had always thought SkullKnight's armour was make by the Elf King after Puck said he had a 'Fairy's scent'(ch 142), but perhaps it was Flora who make it or who knows they may have worked together?
