Yep, i checked. After 153, Byakyu asks ichigo why he was trying to save ruika and the chapter finishes without ever showing him do his ban kai.
go forward a bit more... then you will have an actual battle between ichigo and Byakyu where they both use their ban kai.... I don't really wanna say what it looks like cause i dunno who's not at that point

thedarkness: nah, what chapter in the manga continues the story after episode 43 in the anime..
I've no real need to re-read the manga of an ep I've seen, so the chapter which continues the story where anime ep #43 leaves off would be perfect in my opinion.. And greatly appreciated.. rough, general chapter area is absolutely fine though, just give me a hint and I'll leave this thread alone.

Well, a lot gets cut out of the anime, so I would advise you to start the manga from the beginning. However, if you don't care about that, then volume 14 would be a good place to start. It may be just a little before episode 43, but the volume begins with chapter 116.

Is there any big difference between the anime & the manga?
should I read the manga first, then watch the anime, or should I do it both?
I think I should start knowing this whole BLEACH thing soon, cuz the LIVE action is coming on the screen..... I'd love to watch it cuz some of the actor is quite well known (at least for me :D )

who has read zombie powder?? Its one of Kubo's works. I'm going to read it sometime this weekend. Hopefully I could get a fell as to where he is going with bleach.

Well, the manga and anime are pretty similar, except that the anime cuts stuff out. It’s just details here and there, but I like that stuff. I would advise that you do both, read the manga and watch the anime. The manga is best for plot, but the anime looks nice. There’s a live action movie of Bleach coming out? That’s cool. As for zombie powder, I haven’t read any of it.

I would like to say GTO, but the movie was kind of mediocre. The drama was worth watching though.

bleach 2 is coming out soon for the psp and prolly ps2 but not sure i jus concentrate on my psp

from preview trailers it seems it got most of the captains, itll definitely be better than the disappointment of bleach 1
