I can tell you that right now. They sacrificed someone dear to them. ^^

I have wild theories of my own, Femto/Starnum/Eldo think I'm off my rocker on most of 'em. :P We will just have to see what happens before I stand above a table with a bottle Jager and scream "TOLD YA SO!". :kekeke:
and then im just in my own corner, but ya i see berserk as very cyclical. and many of the events being "rhymes" of previous occurrences

Void was first, but he was sexually frustrated drifting alone in the world beyond so he recruited Slan and spent every eclipse fucking, so they needed somonee to actually do the work, talking, so came chubby guy, who has such a dumb face becouse he keeps string at the wild sex action, and can't do shit, so came the other little guy, who finds the whole situtation hilarious and is also useless, so they had to have Femto becouse he looks kool

If i'm not mistaken i think he was in the last war,the one that the Hawks won for Midland. So he should know what Guts is capable of. Is he on this ball too? I havent seen him.

Which pope guy?
I forget his name, but one of Vandemion's sons. Maybe he wasn't pope but I seem to recall him being high up in the church's hierarchy.

As for Guts becoming a Midland Soldier again, I seriously doubt it. For one thing Midland and its armies have been almost completely destroyed by the Kushite invasion forces. For another, I strongly doubt that Guts has ANY love for Midland, period. Considering what happened to the Hawks after he left, and the king's relentless attempts at killing every one of his former comrades down to the last man. :( Fortunately, it wouldn't be Midland that he's dealing with. It would be Vandemion and the Holy See Alliance. Midland, or rather the remnants of Midland, are but a small part of that group.

Oh and isn't Raban the guy with the beard? I thought the guy who recognized Guts was named Owen.

When I said that Guts may strike a deal with Vandemion I didn't really mean that he'd swear undying allegiance to any particular kingdom or lord. What I meant was that he may agree to take part in the defense of Vritannis for a price. Guts spent most of his life as a mercenary after all, and fighting is something he does well. It doesn't seem too unlikely that he'll take advantage of the current situation and aid the Holy See Alliance (quite temporarily) in exchange for passage on one of the finest ships at its disposal. I figure rather than taking orders from anyone he'll simply be put in command of a regiment of soldiers. The whole point of any cooperation would be to acquire passage on a ship. Otherwise they'll have to commandeer one, and then who will pilot and navigate it? Has Guts ever even sailed before? :?
But isn´t Guts still wounded, cant see the point in agreeing to defending the town for a place on a ship in a wounded condition.
However he could be asked to do a little bodyguard work for some rich noble on a ship after he´s trough hacking up all the Tiger´s.
But the ultimate thing he can do is to take a noble (Farneses father maybe) as hostage instead, and hi-jack a ship.
Much much quicker way (Like 0,001% off that happening, but hey..)

I think Gatts will save Farneze's family (father, mother, brother and fiancee), take them to the ship and sail away. Gatts and company in one ship, her family in the other...

Ill be honest. I dont know them myself. My point, however, was that you should at least look em up before you right about em.

Maybe when he goes to ambush the boaters he will take out a couple but then the others will call in some kind of reinforcement which will make Serpico think "Damn I shouldn't have rushed off here by myself" but then hopefully he will unlock another Sylph power....those guys seem to like him. (He needs a power to make him special, why else would they like him) ^_^
