As for my suggestions, like I said, I'd be happy if you used any of it. I'd understand if you weren't that fond of using the whole thing. As for the post counts, make them whatever you want. The titles are just there for however you want to divide them up. Oh, that's right; Sennin is hermit, my bad. Heh, that’s so appropriate though; good work Psi. Finally, I vote that we keep both post count and titles. At the very least, keep the titles. Well, that's my two cents anyway.

I liked some of Starnum's titles, so I shamelessly stole some. Well, here's my ranking suggestions:

Newbie=Sacrifice - 1
Struggler - 10
Squire - 20
Knight - 30
Berserker - 50
Certified Alchemist - 100
High Mage - 200
Lich - 400
Apostle - 800
God Hand - 1000
Idea - 1500
One who opposes fate - 2500

It'd be interesting if there was some sort of alignment system for the titles. But of course it won't work, and I don't see how it can be integrated...

Why dont we get to choose our own titels? When i say we i mean we that hang out here often,people with 100+ post.

Thats what we did in a swedish forum im member in.

I think its a good idea since we arent so many in this forum.

Instead of having titels that you get after your post count.

nam man custom titles are for mods and admins. Just dont worry about it. If you make a good name for yourself. Maybe youll get one. I doubt ill even get one either.

I disapprove of the custom titles too. I think unless you get the permission of the mods and admins to change your title, it shouldn't be 'open' to change.

Well, these are the rank/titles I came up with. I took some of Eldo's titles, added some of my own, arranged them differently, and changed the post count. Everything is Berserk related and I've added a couple of words next to every title with examples of what person/thing in the mange would have them:

Sacrifice - 1 - (Eclipse sacrifices)
Faerie - 10 - (Puck, Evarella)
Blacksmith - 25 - (Godo)
Soldier of Midland - 50 - (Self-explanatory)
Hawk - 100 - (Member of the Band of the Hawks)
Troll - 150 - (Self-explanatory)
Ogre - 300 - (Ditto)
Ancient Witch - 500 - (Flora)
Berserker - 800 - (Guts)
Apostle - 1200 - (Wild, Roshinu, Grunbeld, etc.)
Immortal Soldier - 2000 - (Zodd, Skull Knight)
God Hand - 3000 - (Self-explanatory)

As for the editable titles, well if we're going to have them, then there's no point in having a rank/titles list, the post cound should be enough. I prefer the ranks though.

I like the berserk only theme, the only ones I disagree with are the troll, ogre. They sound so ugly...! Why not have Duke, Marquis, or Count? It's just that people may spam like hell so they can reach the next ranks. Not like that is a problem tho...

Yeah. I like the berserk theme as well and the ones you chose, but I also think that the ogre and troll do have someowhat of an uglier sound to them. You could move the Hawks up and hten add something like the Purple Rhinos or Blue Whales, or any of the other strong armies during the Golden Age. But of course the Hawks have to be the best army. Coudl through the prostitutes in there, put it on top since they get around so much.

But I definately like that theme, and the rest of htem are really well done and though out.

Okay, here are the Berserk Theme titles I came up with. I hope you guys like them. I’d love at least some of my ideas to be put into work here. As for post count, divide it up how you like. I like having a lot though, that way the title changes somewhat frequently. Funny that Arresty mentioned the Blue Whale Knights and the Purple Rhinos while I was off making this. Good to see we’re on the same page.

By the way, these are in order of popularity, or so I would assume. Also, when I say Skull Knight, I mean like, a skull knight. I tried to just use titles, not character names. However, it’s still something people can relate too. I thought that might be cool.

if you don't like your current title, why don't you work hard and get to the next one. on dp, it took me 1000 posts to finally get to super saiyan and ditch all those punyass titles before that
