Hello all.

My questions stems more out of frustration than anything. Ch260 is out today and I keep getting "Problem connecting to tracker - (10061, 'Connection refused')" when trying the torrent. I've tried about 5 times to connect and also different torrent programs (normal, tornado, azerus). Same thing each time...but they do function as I've download other files with them. I've searched google as well as this forum (where I got some 200+ hits...) and they basically say "wait it out, there must be a problem with the tracker". I know there isn't because others are downloading the chapter as I type. Hopefully this was the right place to ask. Anyone have a remedy? If not I guess I'll have to wait until it's hosted on the direct downloads page. The suspense is killing me.

Edit: Forgot to mention...no firewall.

Brainpiercing was kind enough to provide a direct link for the latest chapter. Look for it in this thread.

There was an issue last night with the server bouncing up and down, it couldn't be helped. Burst.net was flipping the switch on and off like a mischievous child I guess. Anywho, it is all sorted out and as of typing this over 300 seeds currently. I posted about it here:

http://www.evil-genius.us/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1051

Sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully the direct downloads helped for those who couldn't get on the tracker last night.

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum and like some other people here, I have been looking at the forum for quite some time and finally decided to join. I am a Berserk fan, but I only became privy to this amazing story very recently. I had been wanting to get my hands on it for some time, but was never able to and over time I forgot about it. A friend of mine burned the first three episodes of the anime for me, and that was enough to leave me salivating for more. I bought the DVD collection and then I went on a frenzied search for the manga. I have seen the series over and over again from beginning to end and have read the whole manga up to its present chapter and I can honestly say this is my favorite story. I am obsessed. This whole thing started three weeks ago, but I feel as if I have been afflicted for years. I want to say thank you to the people here who have dedicated their time and efforts in translating and making the manga available to people like me who would otherwise never have the privilege to bask upon such an awesome story.

P.S- Also, I have been trying to download chapter 260 from both BT and Direct Download, yet when I try to decompress the file it gives me an error message. Anyone know why this may be happening?

Thank you for the reply guys. Unfortunately it is still not working. I tried the direct download and the BT and still, every time I try to decompress it gives me an error message and the process ends, leaving me with nothing. I have tried using WinRAR and WinACE, maybe you guys used a different program to decompress? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Again, thanks for your help.

It may be due to several reasons.

Have you got the latest version of winrar? If you haven't, download and install it. Generally, it should work fine.

WinRAR 3.5 works just fine, I went through the process of downloading via BT and opening it up via WinRAR 3.5 and it was flawless. I recommend WinRAR 3.5 because it supports all compression schemes I've come across, at least when running Windows. Karchiver and standard unrar works great as well on Linux.

Depending on what Nazgul wants, we change change formats but originally we started out with rar files and it has continued that way.

Ahhh!!! Thank you so much guys. I wouldn't have figured that one on my own. I was using WinRar version 2.80, I never would have thought that made a difference. I guess I should keep up with the newer versions of software from now on. I really appreciate the help, you guys just made my day. Thanks!!!

Yeah, this info should probably make it into the FAQ as well, who knows how many other people had problems as well.

That's why you should update/upgrade your software as often as you can.

But don't forget, never change a running system. :(

Hige is the name. Berserk was one of the first animes i ever saw but got confused and pissed when it ended. I then started to look for a season 2 but never found one... After awhile i found the Manga and started reading it, and as of that moment i was hooked for the rest of my life. :D
