Well, I saw by far the coolest concert ever a week or two back. Ayanami and I, along with some other friends went and saw "Dear Friends: Music from Final Fantasy" performed by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. It was incredible. They had video screens above the symphony playing scenes from the games. The set went as follows:
1. Liberi Fatali................Final Fantasy VIII
2. Zanarkand.................Final Fantasy X
3. Terra's Theme............Final Fantasy VI (My personal favorite)
4. Theme of Love............Final Fantasy IV
5. Dear Friends...............Final Fantasy V
6. Vamo' Alla Flamenco....Final Fantasy IX
7. Love Grows.................Final Fantasy VIII
Intermission
8. Aeris's Theme.............Final Fantasy VII
9. Not Alone....................Final Fantasy IX
10. Ronfaure....................Final Fantasy XI
11. Final Fantasy I-III Medley
12. New Melody from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
13. Final Fantasy
Encore: One-Winged Angel... Final Fantasy VII
If the opportunity arises for any of you to see it (I think they said they were doing a tour of the country with the show), I highly reccomend it. Fans of the FF series, viedo games, or music in general should really like it.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. You think I would have made a thread by now. Oh well, I will let you have it this time Tempest.
But any who, yeah, Dear Friends was teh r0x0rs, Terra's Theme was by far the best. Song was just on fire for no reason. Dear Friends as well was real as fuck. All the music sounded great live, and I would go again if I had the chance.
