Hi all I'm Saiyah

I found berserk after just about giving up on anime, period. A friend told me to rent it from netflix. I watched epp 1-20 in one sitting but they never sent the last disk, I went nuts for about two weeks and then decided to watch the Jap version. The ending didn't piss me off one bit because the first epp showed Guts lived, but I was dying to talk to someone about it. I found some backwater fourum (which name I cannot remember) became a regular but soon found that the best theory that anyone had was Griffith was the count and Guts killed him then. After reading that stupidity I left and the thespectrum.net which had the manga and a link to DP. I never downloaded anything from DP or EG for that matter but I stayed to see this guy named Shisho flame every Tom, dick and harry who had a dumbass theory like those guys from that other fourm. I made my own dumb thread and got flamed, (It was called "A Hypothesis on Guts past" was a dumbshit move on my part I admit it.) but he backed me up which was cool. Anyways thanks to Fusiongt I am proudy a Berserkaholic ... if there is such a word.

Yes, Fusion GT made me a berserk fan out of me too. Out of respect, I sent the Gantz volumes to thespectrumnexus. the one of the sikonews site. That wasn't long ago and perhaps you still remember.

I had no idea you've known about EG going as far as DP, Saiyah. You've been put on a higher pedestal just because of that.

But yeah, Shisho's posts/flames were enough reason to warrant reading and joining any forum.

PS: I still miss Shisho.

PPS: I've been using 'PS' a lot lately. It's my new fad so deal with it.

Another newbie poppin' up outta the blue~ I got into berserk by chance a while ago and couldn't put it down, even after I'd read all the volumes I could find, I felt the urge to read them again only a few days later. After a while I started having withdrawl symptoms and tried hunting down whatever shreds of the series I could find, and stumbled upon this great place.

I've been lurking a while and know there are those who don't take kindly to dumb questions and newbie foolishness, so I'll try to watch myself and keep my random musings to the newbie discussion thread. Don't want to end up like some of the other posters I've seen take a major reaming.

One question, for protocol's sake: Is it alright to make predictions and observations on the direction of the series in new chapter threads? For example, in the 259 thread; if I were to mention that I think Vandemion will ask Guts to aid in the defense of Vritanis in some way in exchange for the best ship in the fleet, after seeing Guts vanquish that demonic beast... Would that warrant a n00b bash or would it be cool? Just checkin'

And yea i got into berserk thanks to Fusiongt. Fusiongt got me into kenshin and ippo(though libaax helped with ippo a bit) and deathnote. Which are some of my favorites.

Hi I'm b3rs3rk3r... I'm sorry if my English is quite bad, but my mother is Spanish and my father is Italian and I've always been living in Italy, so I couldn't learn English very well. I just love mangas and animes, expecially Neon Genesis Evangelion, Slam Dunk, Hellsing, Bastard, and Berserk, of course. I love reading mangas on the monitor of my PC, in fact I have all the releases of Berserk both on the books and on the PC (I'm mad, i know).
I have a question for you: do you think Caska will be healed? And do you think she will remember everything about her past?

hey, i watched berserk anime over 4 months ago, but i just started reading manga recently... i just finished reading 16 volume or so and ive got a question..

is all manga a Gutt's flashback? i mean he gets to see Femto (Griffith) somewhere in the first volume or so and then the flashback starts...i thought the flashback would stop after the moment when griffith becomes femto but it goes on..im a bit confused now
