That's kind of the point. That's why many of today's villains simply aren't as good as Kefka was- they all have their own sob-stories to motivate what they do (Sephiroth, Kuja, the list goes on). Kefka simply kills for the sake of killing, destroys for destruction alone. Because he is damn crazy.Malvado wrote:Kefka pissed ME OFF!

NBA Street Vol 3.
Its the best basketball game i have played by far cause the feeling and the dunks that are straight from NBA highlights. Nothing is better than dunking or dribbling like your fav player.
Some of the dribbles are pure fantasy but most things in the game are things that happen i real life basket.
The Street Challenge is an awesome mode who lets your team challenge nba players, and finaly playing in NBA Street League with real NBA players.
I play on medium and faced S.Francis and his Orlando and he toyed with me and my Charleott Bobcatt who are the team that took in my created player.

Well Xenosaga sucked anyway, episode one or two. I give them congrats for putting in all that philosophy while using well known names but that didn't shield the game from a lackluster story and a horrible battle system. At least the game doesn't have xenogears tied to the title. But we know episode four is going to be good(or is gears five?).

God of War- Kartos is fucking awsome!!1 the only reason why he owns up Ryu hayabusa is that fact that he has good camera angles and fucks chicks w/e he feels the need!
Xenosaga 1- Man i need to really like have some sort of extra juice to play this game, it just gets boring sometimes...
and in my Xbox...
SF:AC been playing some hyper super street fighter 2 turbo action lol im complete suck at it too, but its good fun playing with your friends.

- Music (I dare you to find a decent town theme. The cutscene music is alright, but nowhere near Mitsuda level.)LordMune wrote:But please, tell me. What is so horrible about Episode II?
- Cutscenes (The quality and direction in most of them are horrible.)
- Bad script (Compared to Episode I at least.)
- Gameplay (Boosting, zones and stocks are cool at first, but it gets boring towards the end of the game. Every boss is handled to the same way too, stock like a motherfucker, then Zone Break and Boost/Chain the hell out of him/her.)
Need I say more? It has a lot to do with personal opinions obviously so if you like Ep. II more then good for you, but technically, Ep. I is the better game. The music alone fucks Ep. II royally in my opinion.
havent played DMC3 yet, so im gonna compare it to DMC1.Libaax wrote:What does Kartos screw chicks in the game
So how is the action in GOW, as good as say DMC3 and by DMC3 i mean is it fast and ice cool action?
GOW just plain rocks, more blood and gore, and just plain ass kicking.
And all this talk about xenosaga, all i have to say is that im very disappointed. Battle system sucks, and the game just doesnt want me to lose any sleep, i rather sleep then play xenosaga. (you know those times where you just have to keep playing and you cant sleep yet...)

-Music: What can I say? This is a matter of taste. I personally find that Mitsuda's scores have been going downhill quality-wise ever since Chrono Trigger, with the occassional redeeming piece (Albedo and Battling KOS-MOS in XSI). While I found the music in XSII horrid at first, I got used to it, eventually started to like it. It's quite different from what you hear in most RPGs, and I enjoyed it. I actually have the entire soundtrack in a looped playlist in winamp right now.Femto wrote:- Music (I dare you to find a decent town theme. -Cutscenes: Barely average voice-acting and sub-standard graphics kind of ruined this aspect for me in the original. While they are extremely good, they are still trumphed by the sequel.
-Bad script: You are crazy. Plain and simple. Just the Rubedo/Albedo/Nigredo bit in the Yuriev institute made that game worth playing. The only beef I've got with the script is that it slows down quite a lot a bit into the game.
-Gameplay: XSI's endless Tech attack animations didn't get old after the third time? Did I miss something? I didn't particularly enjoy the battles in either game, but Xenosaga has never really been about providing quality gameplay. XSII made it all a bit more bearable, though.
I suspect a lot of this may have to do with the fact that I watched the Xenosaga animé before I played the game, so the plot and even gameplay elements were not that new to me.

What you say about Mitsuda's music is true, it's not at the level of Xenogears or Chrono Trigger, but it's still miles better than the one in Episode II. Walking around Second Miltia with that puke-tastic music ruined the experience for me and made me just want to get to the ending as fast as possible. I haven't touched the game since then. Kajiura's cutscene music was good for the most part, but not as epic as Mitsuda's Episode I score and it didn't fit the theme of the game IMO.LordMune wrote:-Music: What can I say? Voice acting was overall better the first time around, they completely ruined KOS-MOS in Episode II. Sub-standard graphics? Maybe you didn't notice, but there are two kinds of cutscenes in Episode II (much like FFX), the one with good character models and the shitty ones and, sadly, most of them are of the latter kind. The high quality ones were pretty good actually, but nothing that puts the ones in Episode I to complete shame (mostly because of the better music/direction/dialogue). The other kind of cutscenes make want to puke all over myself.LordMune wrote:-Cutscenes: Barely average voice-acting and sub-standard graphics kind of ruined this aspect for me in the original. I'm sorry, but the script needed some work. I can't tell you exactly which parts because I haven't played the game in a while, but I do remember anime cliches all over the place and weakness throughout the script. It was harder for me to fully get into the game because of it, some of the serious bits made me giggle even. Not the ending though (the part after the last battle), that was pulled off with great success.LordMune wrote:-Bad script: You are crazy. Plain and simple. True. I guess repetitiveness applies to every console RPG but I still found Episode II a bit more repetitive/boring than most.LordMune wrote:-Gameplay: XSI's endless Tech attack animations didn't get old after the third time?
