It did make me reconsider actually, and I've come to realize that I'm basing my decision on the opinions of a single member (and Felony too, who seems to be afraid of my posts
) which doesn't really speak for all of mindwerks and whose opinion is technically flawed as far as I'm concerned. I've acted the same way before modhood and even back in DP as old-timers will attest to, and that's an indisputable fact of that. If somebody doesn't like the way I post, then tough luck, I'm not about to change my ways anytime soon. I just ask that members, newbies in particular since old-timers know this already, be aware that I post the way I do just for the sake of having a strong discussion. I never intend to offend anyone and the moment I start calling people names in every other sentence is when a discussion has mutated into a flame war and when you should be aware that I probably won't stop. I didn't request to be given mod status again, and I don't really care about it right now, but if that is stopping anyone from speaking their minds freely when talking to me (which doesn't seem to be true either because there's a 7+ page discussion about religion between various members and me and nobody seems to be holding back), then I really think you should reconsider. Talking back to a moderator (as long as it's not offensive like psi mentioned before) won't get you into trouble, at least not with me. Look at Darken and at how easily I could've gotten him banned (looking back I think that that's what I should've done ) yet I opted for a good old-fashioned flame war. Bottom line is, stop being wussies and say whatever you want if you think my modhood is stopping you, I'm all for it. The other reason for me wanting to post here again is quite simple (as you've probably guessed by the title of this thread), I just love you guys. I wouldn't spend hours here posting about important (and less-than-important
) subjects if it weren't so. The release of three new Berserk chapters are bound to get some life in here again and I've already seen a thread about it that I think is pretty interesting and several others in other areas that I'd like to post in too. This is a nice little community we have here and I do enjoy being a part of it. Mindwerks rules!
