It's already ended, but yeah, there's not much plot. They found the Sunflower Samurai, and he made an appearance for like 5 minutes.

I just finished this one, it wasn't half bad, actually, although the impression is a little mixed.
The thin main plot didn't disturb me, it was the occasional weak episodes which bugged me more. An episodic show needs to hone the short stories to perfection, sometimes this hasn't happened. I suppose 20 minutes is a short time to compress even a short-story type subject matter into. Sometimes they lacked a little intensity.
I also found the hip-hop bits annoying, but well, that may be just me. And the ending so typically showed the cowboy bebop hand-writing, although it was a lot more optimistic.

The ending bieng Cowboy Bebop like was what was worriying me cause i didnt want Mugen or Jin to die.
Even though it wasn't much story in the first 23 eps i still enjoyed this anime more the other samurai animes and i have watch a lot of samurai animes.
Great characters, great eps(the zombie ep was the only bad ep),great music made it very enjoyable.

I found the zombie ep slightly hilarious, but just slightly so. It wasn't the worst ep, however, although I can't decide right now which one was.
What I liked about it was how it displayed many of the terrible aspects of old Japan without getting too serious about it and without raising the moral club too much. I must say though that the characters are all very carefree considering the world they live in. If I had been in either of their shoes I wouldn't have SPOILER just walked away on each other in the end.

Mugen was the only one that was carefree all the time. The others just became that way cause of thier travel. The only one of them i can see who still travels on is Mugen,Jin would be probably have his own school, fuu working somewhere getting married and stuff.
