Anyway back in the beginning of the thread (which for 5 pages seemed like the dawn of a mod war *chill runs up spine*) many people said that Corkus deserved the worst death because he was the most annoying/bad character. I had a big debate with my friend over who had suffered most in death during the eclipse. My friend was like: "but h3 g0t pwn3d by t3h m0nst3r wh3n h3 th0t it h4d nic3 titti35!!!!!!1111111111one. What I told him is that any person who can effectively control his or her own mind to a certain degree can potentially create a world of his own regardless of the outside. This, of course is extremely difficult and/or improbable. But think about it...
They were in the Nexus during the eclipse... a place they had never seen before and where all their worst nightmares can come true. I mean, first of all, Corkus becomes insane to a point where his id (id = human desire, sexual drive, which is the opposite of the superego = what you should do) completely takes over his brain in place of reason. The brain still gets the message from his eyes (look! titties!) but is so dominantly influenced by his id that it interprets it as a... sexy woman!!!
The point is, he was alone and secluded from his companions, which gives him the ability to create his own perception of things. Basically... HE DIES IN THE ARMS OF A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN WITH HIS FACE IN HER CHEST!!!! Yes, she was a demon, but she was only a demon because Miura showed it to us. Corkus, in his now insane a twisted world, was with a woman. He was happy! We just feel bad for him. In our unimportant minds (which he didn't know about) he was suffering, but we are not Corkus (at least i hope not) so he was happy!
Personally, I also wanted to add that I think Corkus should have been slowly torn to shreds and assraped at the same time by a fat homo-demon.

That's pretty good reasoning Oversoul. But I thought the titty-demon was actually disguised as a really hot woman and then turned into apostle form, like that female apostle in the "pilot" Berserk; you know, the one Guts is doing the sex with on the very first page

In which case Corkus WAS with a hot woman, at least up until the hot woman became a demon with breasts.

Although it's debatable whether he found out afterwards or not. His face was pretty firmly wedged in that cleavage, but you never know.

nahz i think corkus never woke up from his dream. i think he also knew it was jus an illusion and it was prolly one of them apostles but he didnt care anymore. to him, it was a hot naked chick and he died semi-happy

Well, even though Corcus MAY have been a nice guy, he wasn't during the series. In fact, nothing he did impressed me, he rather annoyed me. Imagine a simple thing like a counter-strike-clan, or a WoW guild. The leader decides to take along an all-trough skilled player, which everyone, except one, likes. This particular person will flame and give the newcomer a hard time. It's the same. No one likes such a guy, maybe to a limit, but in the end he will be lonely, just like Corcus.

So, except the fact that Judeau was Mr. Goodfella, that's the complete reason why I didn't vote for Corcus, period!

Yeah, I havn't been posting a whole lot, mainly in the Gaming section and every once in a while in Off The Wall. With work and taking a summer class, I usually don't get any free time till about 7 or 8 pm ( I do have some between when I get up, around 10 am and until my class at around 4, provided I'm not working that day, but Spike TV has Star Trek DS9 and TNG on from like 11-3 so I usually get in touch with my inner nerd around then), then usually my buddies call me up and I hang out with them for a while, come home and crash. And when I do get time to post, there are like a dozen topics each in the Off the Wall and Berserk to read, so I usually just mark them all read and hope I didn't miss much.
