Considering the pace of the story so far, I don't think it would be possible to end Berserk in 3 volumes without completely rushing it.

God I hope its a lie. There is no way he could finish it in 3 more volumes. The final fight would have to be now, and thier wouldn't be a trip to Elfhelm.

Well, unless there's another magazine that says the same thing, or scans of the actual page of the interview, then I'm dismissing 'teh claim' for now. I'm not quite sure about NewType's credibility, and there is no way for me to find out, heh.

It can be a false rumour, I won't discard it. But I wouldn't be the one who initiated it.

Actually, I don't want to believe that it's true. But I think It may be feasible because... For example, If I were the editor, I would be really annoyed with all those holydays that the autor takes.

Why would they care, he is bringing them money. The manga is released in a magazine, and most people would have a subscription to it that read berserk, so they make money whether he is in every issue or not. As long as he is printed in Young Animal people will buy subscriptions to it. Hell the longer he takes the more money they can make off of him, I woudl think that is a good thing, wouldn't you.

Isnt Berserk like crazy in japan. Like everyone knows bout it and everyone likes it? Then why would he end it so soon. The newtype editors were prolly shooting heroine when it happened.

Sorry for being away for a couple pf days nad not realizing how much u guys liked my tirade (God i've got to post more often)

Anyhoo I think all this Berserk ending is garbage. You don't dedicate your life to something, half finish it, then stop. NOTHING would make Miura do that unless everything Berserk stands for is a lie. I refuse ot believe that this is true.
