Hopefully nobody will get the stupid idea of making a Berserk movie.....

Worst thing that might happen would be Sci-Fi channel presenting Berserk mini series.

They seriously butchered Ursula Le Guin's The Wizard of Earhtsea novels.

i agree. you cant squeeze berserk. not even into some 5 movie saga. itll jus be pure crap. itll move so fast that itll seem that the actors are in a rush to finish the scene so they can take a dump in the bathroom

If berserk makes a movie then I will kill myself. That woudl just be bad, really really really really really...(two days later)... reallly really reallly really bad. If they were to do something related to berserk tehy could maybe use the berserk universe and just do a side story, and maybe have Guts show up for just a small part of it or something. Maybe have a story from Rickerts perspective or something like that. But taking the actual story to the manga woudl just suck. Royally.

Also Bad Santa is a fucking hilarious movie. I loved it so much. Especially the mother from Gilmore Girls saying "Fuck me Santa, fuck me santa, fuck me santa" that alone is worth seeing. She is hot as balls as well.

What about a move about the Dragon Slayer... It would be the tale of Godo's life, or maybe pucks story there has got to be a way the more berserk the better... maybe what I really want is a second season of Berserk.

We can, we can, but must pray for him to finish manga, then do a second season of anime, but why does it matter since the manga will always pwn the anime.

Would rather it start from scratch, but it would be cool to see animated Guts with a Dragon Slayer taking on Roshino. :smoken:

Yes Manga pwns the anime, although I do like the emotions put into the anime, I also like the voices they had for the First season.

A second season would be cool. And at first I liked the japanese Guts voice actor more then the english one. But when I got used to it, it got better. The voices fitted pretty well.

I don’t mean to break the berserk fest in the movies tread but I want to ask some questions how would you guys rate these movies?

The Amityville Horror – im think hey it has val wilder so it can be that bad

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy – my mom and dad both fell asleep watching it so im leaning away from it but the reviews seem good.

House of Wax – Hilton *shutter*

Kingdom of Heaven – now this looks like it rocks HARD im going to see it tonight I bet it almost asgood as Kill Bill

Unleashed – and this steaming nugget it looks like its gonna blow. Yet another Hollywood kung-fu action film im gonna watch just cause its jet li

And this is newly added to my must see list.

Kung Fu Hustle

And also good movies in my opinion(in favorite order):
Sin City <--(SUPER GREAT FILM)
Kill Bill
Shaun of the Dead <--
The Last Dragon
If you haven’t seen these <-- watch them today!
By the time you read my post you'll already be dead.

I'm pretty much a hard core fan of Douglas Adams, but I'm not quite sure how the movie goes. I have friends who already seen it without acquiring the book, and they found it enjoyable.

Kill Bill could have been more I think Quentin Tarrentino held back...it should have been one long ass movie, but all and all my favorite sword play movie.

A five hour long movie? No thank you sir. I have enough trouble not pissing myself after I drink a pop in a movie and have to wait two hours to get to a bathroom. I almost died in Kingdom of Heaven. Plus, why a long ass movie would have been cool for movie buffs, no normal, non-Tarentino fans would have gone to see that. And Doz, you shut your dirty mouth, Uma Thurman is hawt. 8)

I saw Unleashed tonight and I liked it a lot. Its not a crappy hollywood kung fu movie, there were no rappers in it. The fighting kicked ass. Story and acting? who cares, I go to these kinds of movies to see some good fights.

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy was alright.

I didnt really care for Sin City.

Well most people veered toward negitive reviews of the second one mostly because the movie didnt contain enought action in it, lacking the decisive final battle between Beatrix and Bill, since there was more character development added.

I on the other hand found the portrail of bill as not some "boss" type of character(you know the head honcho who is a total bastard in every revenge story adn takes like 20 minutes to die in some obscure way), but rather as a man who has made a mistake and is whiling to give his own life to make amens, well thoughtout and well played.
