Dude; don’t call Miura a loser. If you think his editors control an icon like him, then you’re the loser. Artists are given way more respect in Japan then they are in America, or wherever. If you’re trying to insinuate that Serpico will loose because that’s what the editors want, then think again pal. Serpico will lose because that’s what Miura wants. He has written the story to be that Gatts is stronger. He is the main character after all, so just get over it all ready.

I can call Miura whatever I want, its a free forum, and being called names comes with popularity and what you make of it.
The editors dont have any respect for Miura, its all false, Japan is so capitalism, they dont care about a loser artist or anyone unless it can get them something in exchange, get real! Like Griffith did to guts, the editors are using Miura. If he betrays them and make Serpico the hero, they would just say he got sick and make the fans wait for 3 months again for 1chapter and if he doesnt cooperate might just be caboom for him and his connections but since hes such a loser I wouldnt be surprised that he doesnt have any.

I was thinking since the dukes of midland have no king and are fighting the kushans to gain back their land. Will Griffith ally with them and defeat the kushans, and than wed the last of the royal bloodline "princess charlotte" to become king of midland or will he defeat them all. The appearance of that creature means something is going to happen. It would be a major plot twist if griffith did show up to ally and gain there favor, it makes sense that he would ally with them at some point, because destroying them would mean less of a kingdom to rule, but that would put guts group and the Vandimon family "Farnase" at odds, not to mention more resistance for guts.

Besides, you're apparently too dense to believe the truth, so I'll just let you continue on in your little delusional world. I mean, I especially like how you base these facts of yours off of pure opinion. See, unlike you, I actually believe in things that have been proven to me, rather than just making shit up. Oh, and since you obviously didn't understand Femto's question, he was asking what you were basing the things in the post I’ve quoted above off of. I'd like to know myself. I can provide lots of accounts of how artist are respected much more in Japan, if need be. Let's see what you've got. Not to mention the fact that if Miura is actually bringing money to his execs, I don't see why they'd be on his ass on what he can and cannot do. Miura can easily sell Berserk to another publisher if he feels they're not letting him do what he wants with his series, to which he owns the copyrights if I'm not mistaken. It'd make more sense to keep Miura happy so he can continue to bring in money for them. It's all politics and Finito here obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Japan is the best country ever, far from it actually, but I think I do know how execs treat people that generate profits for them.

Again, if you can post a link where you prove me wrong, I'd gladly take everything I've said back and apologize.

The Japenese culture might have been based on honor, but all of that is in the past, those who value honor are too few nowadays, they only make good tools. There was not much honorable in WW2 about the Japenese.

If you consider the way they used to consider honor as samurais the yes there was honor in ww2. They kamakazied when they knew they were gona die. And even though they WERE going to lose after germany surrendered they still kept fighting as hard as ever. After the first Atomic Bomb was dropped they still fought. Only untill after the second bomb was dropped did they actually surrender.

Nope. My post was already in the previous page and I didn't know what the hell you were talking about. That IS what quoting is there for though, how the hell was I supposed to know you were addressing me? Your post doesn't make sense from that point of view anyway, I was asking how you knew about the stuff you posted and you directed me to your "old post" as if I knew what the hell you were talking about. That made things even more confusing, hence my post asking what the hell you were talking about.

Meh, I don't even know why I'm explaining myself, you can take my post any way you wish. The fact remains though, you still haven't provided any proof on the stuff you posted, and if you're doing something as big as saying that Miura is a loser because he plays to whatever his editors tell him to, in a Berserk forum no less, you'd better have some strong evidence to back up your arguments. Either it's the scans or the style of drawing has become more faded in these few chapters compared to earlier ones. Maybe that's why the give off a feel of age to me.

Also, still no takers as to why Serpico is against them from meeting up with Farnese? Or is there just not enough info to say?
