You don't have to be an elf to do that, buddy.

I always thought that it wasn't Azan because the armor seemed too different, but I went back and looked up his armor, and realized that thought different they were very similar armors. This guy has whiskers that fan out some, where azans went to a point, plus Azan's weapon had bumps on the end of it, where this one is smooth. Though these are just sublte differences, and possibly caused by him leaving service of the Vatican. That woudl explain the slight differences. Now I am leaning more to Azan, but for some reason I think he would have been punished somehow, we will find out soon enough. Plus he woudl have seen Isidro earlier at the second eclipse, and therefore he shoudl recognize him, and he sees him here, that is my other evidence that it may not be Azan, though there armor and weapon are very similar.

I would think that after he left the Vatican, he fell on hard time, and he may have begun drinking. He might have been fumbling around and sleeping in alleys, anyway, recent bad treatment of the armor may be the cause of his feathers being different (He was sleping in a boat when we found him!). Also, we don't see the other end of that pole, perhaps that is the bumps, or maybe that weapon was given to him by the Vatican and he lost or broke or had it taken from him. Perhaps this is a new staff. Plus, he's talking about being honorable and a knight, the character is a dead ringer for Azan.

Alright, now you are just being unreasonable. Would you at least admit that the person is more than likely Azan?Arresty wrote:Could be his brother. Bazan.Well made up the name, but it could be his brother or something, that woudl explain the similarities.
Watch, with my luck, it will turn out to be his brother Bazan.

I thought it's him, too. I don't think Miura would create 2 characters with the same weopon and style. Maybe he is on his own again since he saw Griffith and Zodd at the days of the last sacrifice. Or maybe he followed them somehow.
But if it's really his brother, that would be funny.

Police are to be advised to look out for the following suspect, know as "Bazan"

He is still at large.
Anyway, I looked and the armor and the pole are different, however I stand by my statement that he may have gotten new armor and weapon, or those may have been old ones he had to take out of storage because he left the Vatican.

Griffith fights with a saber style, basically slashes. Serpico fights epee which is with thrusts not slashes (although with that wind sword he slashes out those wind blasts, but when he was using steel it was all thrusts).Arresty wrote:Griffith and SerpicoNecromancer wrote:I don't think Miura would create 2 characters with the same weopon and style.
Same family of fighting different weapons.
Griffith = Saber, curved blade.
Serpico = Foil?, straight blade.

Yep, he used his rapier to stab that water monster, the Kelpie.Tempest wrote:Yeah, Serpico Pre-wind sword had a Rapier and Griffith had a type of saber. Totally different types of weapons. Now post-wind sword Serpico would be a little more like Griffith. However he still uses the Rapier on occasion, as shown by my avatar and sig.
