What college you going to? or are at?

i'm going to Ohio State and i also live off campus. i was planning on living close but my friend's dad just decided to buy a house a few miles north and i couldn't pass it up. if it weren't for the gas prices being so high, i wouldn't mind driving everyday.
i've had the same (minus the upgrades) computer since my senior year in highschool. my desktop has been fine for me mainly because of the many computer labs available on campus. thats another factor you should consider, how many computer labs can you access on campus and their locations.

I attended Savannah College of Art and Design then transferred to Georgia College and State University to finish up core classes...now I'm transferring to Georgia Tech to take my major.
Arresty: Gas prices do suck... I have to put premium in my car. That's $2.35 a gallon over here. That sucks for Georgia people. Gas WAS $1.69 and then the next day it was $2.20...that's when I bust out my hybrid moped and aviator goggles to go to class in. I'm too lazy and too cheap to care what people think of me.
*I remember when gas was .89 cents a gallon*

Back to the minimum wage convo, I think their is a national minimum wage that all states must at least use, but some use a higher minimum wage. Most states probably just use the minimum, which I think is 5.15.
Also Georgia I think has some of the best gas prices in the country, definitely better than California, which has some of the worst prices in the country. Remember reading an article last year that had gas prices and stuff in it, and the highest gas prices in the nation were in San Fransisco.

as psi has stated already (though a little harsh :-p) I go to good ol' University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. enjoying it but been slackin off this last semester. probably gonna fuck up my grade while ive been fucking around in my german class. what i recomend is get rollerblades or a bicycle. rollerblades were one of the best christmas gifts ive ever gotten. better than my ipod (cause these atleast havent broken and are compatable with my computer
) laptops are nice because they are portable so you can take them to the library or wherever.

actually im goin for their business cuz their business is very strong too, i dont give a rats ass if u make fun of the CMU engineershalfnhalf wrote:fucking smart ass... go build your robots... we dont want you here anymore...dos.azn wrote:its official, dos is going to carnegie mellon this fall!

I sure you have some financial aid or scholarships because that school isn't cheap.

I'm planning to go to either one of the SUNY Schools. Probably Binghamton which is 74th.
Congrats though!
dont think so low of yourself kazure. you never know what may happen in college applications. like i was bound to go to SUNY binghamton too, but i took a shot at carnegie mellon and i made it. my grades arent too strong, and they prolly represent the lower 50% of the incoming freshmen class, but i knew that so i spent a good half year working on my essay and gathered up every single extracurricular i remember doing and wrote all that shit down no matter how minor it was. you never know man, you never know
