Tenjou Tenge: the biggest mistake?

Post by Raenius »

I've heard that the official release of TenTen by VIZ is really bad, to the point that there is a no-buy campain against this manga, so I was wondering if someone seen it and if he could tell us his/her opinion...

Viz is not releasing Tenjou Tenge in the states, CMX is.

And yes, the CMX version in my humble opinion is terrible. I am really against censorship, I know why they censored it and every thing, I just really don't like it.

I have also not heard any thing on VIZ releasing an unedited version or not.

Sorry, I wrote VIZ instead of CMX!

In the meantime, I have found some articles about their censorship... man, this is CRAZY! I mean, in the 1 Vol, Aya (in a shower room!) is... wearing a bra?!

If you want to sell a manga without nudity, then don't pick one with tons of it inside!

Yeah I was reading some of it in Ocean City and got to the fall into the shower scene and was like "....I always hated Aya but what the fuck they do to my shit!?". Sad really, I had as much hope as a broke black female with AIDS.

Heard.

Yeah, every nude scene in Tenjou has sprayed on Bras and shit. It sucks.

CMX :whip: The sex scene with Bob and Chikari just looks retarded might I add and does not make that much sense because they have her panting and every thing, yet, she still has her clothes on.

EDIT: Then again Bob is such a pimp he could probably manage with Chikari's clothes on.

Ok, maya hits souichirou through a window, he falls into the girls shower room where aya is at. He lands on top of her but now she has a bra on. You don't take showers with clothes on unless it's a shower cap(like me)! They edited the shower, they even used the title to block the panty shot on the cover(not that i care for aya anyway).
