Both of those are good stuff. Tempest the one you linked too was also at the end of some RPG but I forgot which one, but it had all the characters from the game playing those roles instead of old nintendo guys. It is funny though.
Psi, yours is even better just because people actually think AD&D is of the devil. That is just too funny. Its even better if you click on teh links at the bottom where their is this guy who goes into all this detail about how D&D is bad and how it is warping thier minds and stuff. Really funny. Some zealots are just fucked in the head and have no real clue how the world works, and don't do anything productive, and just try to destroy everything that is diferent from what they believe. Die Zealots die.
I do think they know what is going on, they are learned people (PHds) However, their faith is so ingrained that they look at it from a God point of view, which they have every right to do. Thing is, I know many people that seriously believe that magic is real, and apparently Christians believe that magic is real by confirming that it is a tool of the devil. For a rationalist, it is a bunch of mumbo-jumbo, on both sides.
I'm just digging the comic strip, and some of their others. Makes D&D sound fetish like. Perfect fodder for 0makes. Who knows, if they are good I might send a copy back to them.

I guess it was done in Summoner, however the original version, the audio, was done by The Dead Ale Wives Club. I personally like the 8-bit version better
I'm not sure how I could make an omake of it though. Bit tough for me. I'll just let the others to do it.
I don't think half the toilet seats in the world are as clean as I should like; and only half of those are half as clean as they deserve. - tsubaimomo, July 26, 2010 3:00 am
anyone here ever read Knights of the Diner Table? funniest RPG comic out there...and only to my knowledge. the topic of a group of people who player RPG's doesnt really seem like a big hit to me but it has worked so far.
Well, just some tips for the omake. Probably have some scenes of Farnese back in her 'holy chains' period burning the people on the stakes for the omake. I couldn't think of the dialogue, but that's just some hints to get started...

Yeah, see, even that's better. I kept waiting for the funny part, at least where they showed how stupid they were...but it was a bad stupid, not even a funny kind *Shakes his head*.
uhhhh man, reminds me of a time when my friend was reading a D&D book outside of a church, while waiting for a ride. The priest came up and yelled at him telling him he was going to hell, and kicked him off the church property. I have never seen a "ritual spell" in any of the books. Nothing talks about incantations and what not..... There is a difference between people who know reality, and people who blur the lines. The latter are insane.
Its all just sad. So Sad. I can't understand these people. How can you think D&D is a sin. Its a game for god's sake. I bet God is up there going, man this game is fun.
its more a fear of satanism and association with devils, with a mix of ignorance, that cause se peoplel to fear the game. my friend had to convince his dad to let him play with us and he hides the fact that he plays diablo 2
wow so did you JUST find this? all things considered (and for the time it was made) the people who wrote this were obvious harcore christians... much like the vatican with less torture...
on another note i used to read this back in the day when i was like... 5
this is old shit and it was shit back then because scare tactics like this just piss me off... my mom used to have comics like this and i would read through then everyso often... i liked the art
funny thing though.. a friend of mine brought one of these to school one day.. the one about evolution.. it had this kid refuting everything that a science teacher was talking about concerning evolution.. funny stuff
Heh, yeah, I found some pics that I could use for the omake. I just need to make some witty dialogue or even add some humour onto it.
I'll do that one when I have more time.

More linked with witches and Wicca, therefore heresy, and therefore satanic and against the Church. That is why. There fear that it will warp the kids minds into believing in pagan religions instead of Christianity. Also the argument about holy warrior, clerics, monks, etc. does not help since they are all for polytheistic religions in D&D. Even if it was for a monotheistic religion it would still be a different one and therefore would be wrong.
