A really cool one that I ran into when I was going to school in England was the Herstmonceux Medieval Festival. There was a shit load of people there, like 16000, all pretending it as the 13th century. They had mock battles in full armor with cannons, jousting and other horse tournaments, archery, old style parades, the whole shabang. It's in August, so if anyone's in Kent or East Sussex, or hell, even London, check it out! I lucked out because it was at the castle I was starting school in a few weeks later and my mom and I were just dropping off my luggage at the dorm.
blah blah blah, no double posting, well no one ever posts on this thread anyways. I'm the event assistant at the Mission Folk Music Festival and anyone who is in the area of Vancouver BC you should check it out. The website is: http://www.missionfolkmusicfestival.ca.
Being a redneck is about how you act, not where you've been. My neck may be a little red though, who am I to deny as much. Anyway, my sig isn't working right now, maybe it'll be up later. *shrugs*
I'm going this 6th of December to Buenos Aires, Argentina, just so I can finally participate in an AC/DC concert.
This is going to be so awesome. The bus fare's a bitch, though.
One original thought is worth a thousand mindless quotings.

Soundwave in Australia is pretty badass.
Saw Iron Maiden, Slayer, Machine Head, Primus, Slipknot, Black Label Society, Slash among many other.
Last two years were the best EVER!
Where/When was Soundwave in Brisbane? I haven't paid much attention because of work, but...

Like Febuary each year I think. Soundwave Revolution failed and never happened.. which sucks because van Halen and Alice Cooper would've been rad to see..
Honest it is the most fun and the most amount of band you get for your buck =)
