Best action game ever made?
I believe so.

It's certainly lots of fun. But the best? Dunno. Haven't played it enough since I got it to conclude that (damn me and 5 RL friends getting back into wow with the final lich king patch
)
And it's definately a whole lotta better than Darkstalkers. The latter may have more of an zeldaesque open world and puzzles, but damn the combat engine is just too simple.

Re: So, Bayonetta.
You mean Darksiders, I think.
I think Devil May Cry 3 has a more open combat system but Bayonetta is a better game.
The visual feedback really adds a lot to the game.

When I saw Darkstalkers, I immediately thought Landstalker, and I thought: "Fuck yeah. That game's awesome."
I haven't played Bayonetta though. I'm adding tons to this conversation.

Steeples scrape the sky, Praising God.
Everything here exists for God, is sacrificed to God.
For those who have nothing to sacrifice,
It can be a very heartless city indeed.

Re: So, Bayonetta.
I played the demo and the fighting is really sick in it and the game is real fun, but it feels a little tacky to see her butt naked when she does finishing moves on bosses. I'm no prude but when I saw that in the game all I could think was "Really?"
Trust me, I'm a doctor!
Re: So, Bayonetta.
Well you probably already know this, but keep in mind that her outfit is made from her hair. So when her hair transforms into the beast, it can no longer be her clothing. I thought it was pretty cool, looking forward to playing the full version.

Dammit Femto, you got the damn song from the commercial stuck in my head.
Also, I've heard talk from folks that the 360 version is superior because of a marked decrease in load times vs a non-noticable difference in graphics. Confirm or Deny.

I played the PS3 demo and bought the 360 version but I haven't compared it side by side.Tempest wrote:Also, I've heard talk from folks that the 360 version is superior because of a marked decrease in load times vs a non-noticable difference in graphics. Confirm or Deny.
It's been pretty much confirmed by everybody though.
