now i agree with everyone that everyone should not of been revived.

i expected Danzo to try to become hokage. now i hope they do this well as i see potential behind it.

for instance will naruto and co be as gung ho about following konoha if its led by him (which he will proboly rule it and make the village much more blood thirsty like we have seen most other ninja villages be)
im curious to how naruto will respond to this, i can either see him trying to make a grab for hokage to try and prevent konaha from doing what he sees as wrong, leave the village and strike out on his own, or just blindly listen (would not be interesting)

what are other peoples thoughts on danzo being the hokage?

I'll admit I'm not fond of it, but I've had my fair share of crow. It doesn't taste very good, and it sticks in the crawl. I see what you're getting at though. You may very well be right, ShinigamiGuts.

[spoiler]I'm surprised I didn't notice it before, but now that they've revealed his eye, it's fairly obvious. The hair style is even the same. I guess that's why he's incorporeal sometimes, because maybe Tobi is usually an astral projection, or something like that. Plus Danzo is old, but I didn't think he was that old, heh. Well, for all we know, he may not even be the real Madara, but I'm guessing he is. Tobi is Danzo, who's actually Uchiha Madara. That's like wearing a mask over your mask (like that new root guy they just revealed, lol), only in a metaphorical sense. That's pretty sweet! Plus that means Madara has been in Konoha the entire time, and is currently the acting Hokage. Heh, very nice.[/spoiler]

If you are indeed right, which seems extremely likely at this point, then many props to you, Shinigami. You called that one a while back even.

the statement danzo made about not fighting in awhile still puts a little bit of doubt in my mind, but gratz on shinigami for calling something that seemed highly unlikely before it became highly likely

Well Danzo thinking he hasn't fought and Danzo actually not fighting in awhile are two things no? It can highly be possible that Danzo is not aware of Madara's presence (tyler derdan?) I remember when shinigama made the original comment I agreed. I think it would make sense for Danzo to be some sort of Madara "follower".

Hell Danzo is about the same age as the third so he couldve met Madara as a child. For instance after he lost to first and then he got his eye? hmm

If Danzo really is Madara, wouldn't he have the the Sharingan in both eyes though. That's the only thing getting me so far. Unless of course he's not really Madara, and he's just trying to make people think he is. *shrugs*

Well no, of course we haven't seen both of Tobi's eyes, but my point is that Madara would have the Sharingan in both eyes, being an Uchiha and everything. It's just that the new chapter made it seem like Danzo only had it in one eye, but I guess we couldn't see the other eye very well, so maybe it is in both...

well my point was tobi and danzo's right eye (the only eye we have seen for either of them to my knowledge) is the sharigans which does imply they are they same person so madara would have only one eye in that case.

my theory was that both of their right eyes have sharigans, but danzo's was madara's left eye. crazy theory but who knows at this rate (or even crazier danzo is of the uchia clan even though he tried to destroy it)

Well remember Madara holds ill will towards his old clan due to the fact that they betrayed him. Whats more they are ones that could mount the most effective defense to his powers. The 4th couldn't beat him, Itachi was losing his eye sight, the third was old, Oro was probably going to get killed by the third or Jiraiya, Pain and Jiraiya essentially cancelled each other out. It could be contended that Madara quite possibly could have defeated everyone I just mentionted but slow and steady wins the race as they say. I could also see it as the first placing some sort of seal on his powers of sorts when he did defeat him at the valley of the end. ......

Would be weird if he really was madara, why would he send Sasuke to the Hokage Summit , get assassinated by a guy he recently said "i've won sasuke over"

plus danzou ordered assassination on sasuke back in the days, and Sai was the dude who was going to do it.

Overall, im a bit dissapointed that it always has to come to Sharingan. I personally thought Rinnengan was way more cooler, too bad we didn't get to see too much of it just nagato's jutsu.

That's a good counterpoint, D. Either Tobi is trying to trick Sasuke, or the author is trying to fool us into believing that Danzo is Tobi. Whatever the case may be, I'm looking forward to finding out, heh.

Good point but ..... Madara is simply a manipulator and its obvious he just wants Sasuke to do something for him. As of right now it seems as if he wants the Hokage killed but that is but only the surface of the plan. I still find the chances of Madara and Danzo being the same person about 50/50.

Remember a couple of chapters ago he did tell Sasuke he couldn't hope to beat Danzo and the other Elders. Seriously what has changed in past couple of chapters?
