Re: Berserk Tattoos
Other than all of the health risks involved I don't like the ideas of how tattoos are permanent. I appreciate ones other people have, but I doubt I'll get any until I'm like fifty.

Actually there's this new ink that's easily dissolved with some laser treatment, so a tattoo doesn't have to be permanent unless you want it to be.The Herald wrote:Other than all of the health risks involved I don't like the ideas of how tattoos are permanent. I approve of public nudity.

unless you choose the real ink, it kind of ruins the idea of a tattoo.

I've been Branded!
Hey I'm new to these boards, but I've been addicted to Berserk for awhile now and recently got a tattoo of the Brand of Sacrifice on the back of my neck. I figured other Berserk fans would think it's cool so I thought Id share. Here are some pics of it.

I know its a little big and it's not in the same spot as Gatsu's but I wanted it to be more noticable and it wouldnt have fit on the right side of the back of my neck. There is a small part in the center left that is missing because of a mole being in the way, but I plan on getting the mole removed and fixing the brand as well as outlining the bottom with blood pouring down. Tell me what you guys think of it.

That thing is way too damn big, and you shouldn't have started a new thread for this when we already have a Berserk Tattoo thread.

i like it! cant quite remember what it reminds me of though...i wanna say spiderman but..no....damn! well its still nice. good work!
Re: Berserk Tattoos
I disagree. There's no reason a tattoo has to be permanent for it to be a tattoo. It's just body art, wether it's something you have to carry the rest of your life or something you can get rid of later if you change your mind. Just another step in the developement imo.Fuji Nagase wrote:unless you choose the real ink, it kind of ruins the idea of a tattoo.

Re: Berserk Tattoos
I wish I wish I wish I had my camera with me but when I was walking around Anime Central 2008 I ran into not one, but TWO guys who had permanent brands tatooed on their necks. I was very impressed and amused.
Re: Berserk Tattoos
WTF, that's a lot of Berserk tats. Also, Phemt and Boid? Come on.

probably different translations form wherever that guy is from. or did you mean a god hand tattoo is weird.Starnum wrote:WTF, that's a lot of Berserk tats. Also, Phemt and Boid? Come on.
Re: Berserk Tattoos
Yeah, I just thought the spellings were weird. *shrugs*
Re: Berserk Tattoos

found on facebook, looks pretty good
Re: Berserk Tattoos
Hm, maybe a little too much artistic license there, but still pretty cool looking. It looks like the bearer of the tattoo is also wearing a mecha shirt of some kind. I wonder which giant robots are on that shirt, heh.

Re: Berserk Tattoos
well, tattoos are better when they're personalized imo. though, i think its kinda funny that most of the tats we see here are on either fat or acne prone skin ... kinda like a new level of geekdom ... not that i have anything to criticize, me being too much of a pussy to get one myself, but like i said i'd be afraid that a brand would make ghosts follow me around

As for what Herald said, the last person didn't look fat, and their complexion looked okay too. Also, that might be a girl, heh, but it's prolly just a dude with long hair.

Re: Berserk Tattoos
Very nice.
Last year, you say? Have you had any problems with ghosts or demons (or the brand suddenly leaking blood) since then?

Very nice indeed.
Perhaps you've suffered from a severe bout of bad luck even? No? Heh, damn us superstitious bastards.

Re: Berserk Tattoos
It would be so sexy to see some chick with the tatoo where caska's brand is. It would be funny if someone did it where corkus got it, right on the forehead (like one of them uber crazy neonazis), or judeau, on his hand.
