EDIT: yet another useless thing to note:
In the one of the translations I have, Corkus later calls the 2nd guy Ted. I'm wondering if that's really the guys name why did the anime choose to use Earl. Maybe the Dark Horse version will have Earl?


Oh I just realized I have 2 different versions by the Hawks. In the older one It does say Il (Earl) so nevermind about any of this.

You're lucky I have the manga right behind me or I'd be mad for having to go get it again.

The guy who was killed is Dante, the guy who lost his arm is Errol and the guy who chickened out when Corkus told him to attack is Riguel. Here's what they say in the picture you just posted in the Dark Horse volumes (In order of talk bubble from left to right):

Corkus: "He cut off Errol's hand and killed Dante!!!"
Corkus: "How can we just leave him be after that?!"
Rickert: "You're the one who started it."
Corkus: "Right, Pippin?!"

PD: What was that thing about Snake creating a time paradox? Is it related to Metal Gear Solid?

Yeah it's in mgs3 if you do something in the game you shouldn't have.

this is veery newb, but...
when judeau talks to casca before he dies ("I know the reason why he [Guts] asked me to come with you, but he couldn't say it" or something along these lines), wich conversation was he talking about? I just can't remmber of any situation in wich Guts could have said that to him...

The only thing I can think of is their conversation before Guts leaves the Hawks. Before Corcas joins them, they talk about Caska and Judeau inquires Guts about his feelings for her. So that could be it.

Yeah, I think that's when he said it. My only other guess would be maybe he said it after he came back, shortly before the eclipse, but I can't remember for sure.

yeah, I thought of those possibilities too... but ain't that strange? you see, guts didnt ask him to come with her anytime and in Berserk it usually doesn't happen of people flashbacking things that weren't shown to us before (only when it envolves telling some story of their lives and etc).

I used to think it was some kind of sloppy fan art of Zeratul, but the hair.....the hair gives it away. No Starcraft lover would ever draw a Protoss with hair.

Kain is pretty cool too, but I relate more with Raziel, so I got him instead.

I've only ever played the first Blood Omen game on PSX, and I played the first Soul Reaver game too. I just enjoyed Kain's character more, but I liked both games. I probably enjoyed the first Blood Omen game a bit more, but that's just me. I thought Soul Reaver was fun too though, and I wanted to play Blood Omen 2, but never got around to it.

Damn, man, you should really play the rest of the games, you'd be surprised how complex and well tied the story is to Bood Omen, they're not called Leacy of Kain for nothing, he really is the protagonist of the whole series even though you play as Raziel in Soul Reaver 1, 2 and Defiance.
