Dork....

- What's that Video game (sequel to Ico) that had your character climbing up all over gigantic bosses and fighting them that way? .......Perhaps Guts with the power of the Armor would be nimble enough to pull that off, though I doubt it.

.....Or perhaps Guts will unleash the power of his "heaven" behelit causing the Emperor to pull himself apart, like Hot Rod did in using the matrix to defeat Unicron. And in the process Judo throw Femto/Griffith into outer space.

Shadow Of The Colossus! Great game.

Guts has no reason to be fighting Ganishka, he's gonna be defeated by Griffith.

Of course not, just being speculative based on some previous comments. Wasn't being serious..........

The analogy I like to use is that other scanlations are like Barton's but EG's is like Belvedere.

I regret never finishing that game (think I got up to the 13th boss) before I sold my PS2 and all it's games... I could totally see Gutts swinging from arm to arm, and scaling the Emperor, like Wander (character in SotC) scaling the Colossus', to impale the Dragonslayer on top of his head.

Though, it'll probably take the whole day for Gutts to travel up a mile high Emperor to do so :?

There is a part of me that agrees with you. In fact, I would think that as a fan of Berserk, there should be some degree of reservation toward this recent course of events. Although there are some people that would claim Miura had "jumped the shark" (apologize for using such a trite analogy) long ago regarding Berserk (though I'm not one of them), I don't see how Miura hasn't just about crossed that point of no return as far as what's about to unfold. But there is still a part of me that wants to give Miura the benefit of the doubt, and eagerly waiting to see where Miura plans on going with this scenario that is planned.

On a side note, its interesting how what had attracted me to Berserk in the beginning, which was all about over-the-top action and violence........in time has given way to those points in the story that are way more subtle in nature (far removed from the decapitation and gang rape). For example, I find myself constantly caught up in identifying symbolism that I constantly stumble onto while reading the story (whether imagined or intentional.

But what I have always found most intriquing about Berserk, is the depth in which Miura provides to his characters. Where the reader "isn't told who they are supposed to be", but readers are allowed to come to know who these characters are for themselves over course of the story.....Where IMO this allows the reader to develop there own personal relationship with certain characters, having readers more in tune with identifying with certain character's emotions. Thus providing a rationale basis and level of believability for why each character acts the way they do.

......All of which may help explain why I am so much more drawn into those chapters with Guts and crew on the boat, despite being a relatively mundane setting, when compared to those recent chapters featuring Griffith and co. even with all the battles and bravado these chapter provide.
this is probably the best post of yours i've ever read.

You ought to expand upon that a bit, and put it in the stupid theories thread. I could see a great discussion arising out of it.

I would, but then again I don't want to offend anyone for raising the possibility of Guts utilizing the behelit.

.......BTW does Guts still even have that thing?

No, the Skull Knight ate it. I think it's part of his sword now. Anyways, where is that guy? He should come up outta no where like he usually does and slash his way through the Ganishka cloud. If Guts were around this would be a test of Guts' ability to keep his humanity, but because it's Griffith it's a test of the power he gained from killing all the people who loved him.

Uh, Gatts still has his behelit, as seen in this chapter. Anyway, no need for two threads for the same chapter.
