It's a joke you idiots, how can it even be unbiased when they call themselves the Sony Defense Force? Not all that they say is false, but they definitely skew the review in favor of the PS3 for obvious reasons. Wasn't this last picture proof enough that it wasn't all serious?

I completely understood that when I posted, I read through the entire article from start to finish. That doesn't make it any less fun for me to mock them though, since they're obviously real fanboys even if their site isn't meant to be taken seriously.

So the Haze demo is out now. I played it, but it was really too short to get a good opinion on the game. The mechanics with the drug that you take are pretty cool, though.

the gameplay of the being a Mantel solider forces you to pretty much take nectar. If you dont, you run slow, aim is horrible, and you take damage like a bitch. BUt it makes the game SOOOOOOO fun. However though, this demo build is supposedly from last year's e3, so i dont know what to expect with Haze, but i might be getting it. BTW play haze with no crosshair, soo much better.


Now, the Jason Bourne game, the take downs are cool and what not, but i just cant get past the terrible hand to hand fighting. They basically tried to make a deeper hand combat than what Uncharted had, but it reality it sucks. Uncharted's combat system was waaaay to sick, and for a cover system game, no one has come close yet. I mean like dropp kicking a guy into another person, or even punching a guy into kicking him into the balls, or shooting them mid melee combo. The bourne game however does have some cool parts, like the take downs are all fucking sick to watch, take downs with a gun make the game just look like a movie, but the boss battles just feel like a chore for Jason Bourne. I mean the fun parts of the movie are things that you can't actually do. You fight, build up a takedown meter and press Circle, boom, you take the guy down out for the count, but it feels like you didnt do it. The game looks like it will get some decent scores and sell well. I mean it is a movie to game, so it is better than most, but not Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher's Bay good though. Might rent it when it comes out, but im not going to be buying it.

I bought Terminator 2 on Blu-Ray.

You're not even interested in Uncharted? One of the best exclusive PS3 games. I guess you played Assassin's Creed, DMC4 and GTA4 on the 360?

Eye of Judgment is pretty awesome too if you're into that sort of CCG.

Oh and also, the Mirrors Edge teaser looks awesome.

But as for retail titles?

Honestly there are plenty of games that are worth purchasing.

Rachet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
Uncharted (take Gears of War and make it better but with comically dialogue)
Warhawk (by far one of the most exciting online games ever, however the learning curve IS FUCKING STEEP, you will sucks for a long time.)
MLB '08 The Show (that is if you play baseball games, by far the best baseball sim out there)
Echochrome (its on the PSN, makes your mind think)
Heavenly Sword (but it seems like if you already have an opinion about the game, then you are just going to stick with it)
Resistance: Fall of Man (singleplayer is crazy fun, the weapons are unique in there own ways, its a launch game, so you can find it easily for 30 or less)



I believe there a plenty of awesome games on the PS3, but if you already have the mind set to not want to enjoy them, then thats too bad. Every game on this list brings something to the table that makes it enjoyable.



BTW, i got Robocop, T1 and T2 all on blu-ray. Just too beautiful on my 42inch lcd.

Those achievements, man.

Mirror's Edge does look interesting but it does bear the EA brand so I'm being cautious about it.

I'm just not interested in the PS3's library at the moment.

I'm sure some of those games are fine (Warhawk and Heavenly Sword are a joke though) but at this point I feel like I'd be buying them just for the sake of having something to play on the PS3.

Nothing on the PS3 calls me like BioShock or Mass Effect did.

Maybe Uncharted but it looks a little too derivative and uninteresting.

I gotta half way agree with you on warhawk but heavonly sword's fun as hell, you've just never played it. As for future games, I'd say get Haze, Mgs4, resistance 2, and dark sector.

Warhawk has the most balance multiplayer I have ever played. Why is it a "joke?" If it controls, then find the best controls you can configure, but i dont think i've ever played a game that mix ground, air and foot combat sooo well.

I got GTAIV.

It's supposed to run smoother on the PS3 and I probably won't care about the 360's DLC anyway.

I haven't played it yet though.

That's actually one thing i sometimes miss on the PS3. It's really fun in DMC4 and COD4 which have it on the PS3 too. Especially the latter: Killed a dude and yourself with a hot grenade in your hand? That's 100 XP and the Hot Potato Achievement. Killed a guy by throwing a flash grenade to his head? That's one too.

I wouldn't play if the game wasn't fun and I wouldn't just play for the achievements. But when I hit Level 55 in COD4 I thought about prestige but didn't want to lose all the weapons and perks. So now I still have something to strive for with the achievements and stuff. Neat.
