First one I watched like 20 seconds, thought it wasn't anything special. 2nd one was average, typical metal song with the usual AMV scenes.

Then I went back and watched all of the first one and it really is quite good. Very unique at least.

I've made two Berserk AMV's of my own. The 1st one was my 3rd AMV, but the 2nd one was done after I gained some experience.

The 1st one I made is called Bang Bang Berserk. This one is more of a love story between Guts and Caska, and it features the song Bang Bang by Nancy Sinatra.

The 2nd one is called Guts is a Simple Man. This one focus' more on the relationship between Griffith and Guts. The song used was a cover by Shine Down called Simple Man. This one was actually entered into an AMV contest at JACON this year, but was automatically disqualified for content, so that kinda pissed me off a bit. It hasn't gotten any exposure yet, so I thought I would share it with you guys.

I really liked the second AMV, superboi, it was really done, though I couldn't help but laugh at the behelit singing.

submit your second one to to AWA... they play everything... They might not play it in the big room if its bad enough but they make an effort to play at least one video by every creator who enters. I go every year (as its right around the corner for me) but its the only con I ever submit videos too.

They have different levels of contests as well. Expo (everything and everyone), Pro (held to a higher standard and judged by the other creators who enter) and Masters which you can only enter if you've won a previous contest somewhere.

I was thinking of doing that actually. I've only been to AWA twice so far, and this year will make it #3. I'll probably put it into the expo since that seems to be the biggest attraction.

Yeah... I was just having fun with that part. I honestly can't wait to see that part in an AMV contest and see how the crowd reacts to it.

It's laughable, yes, but overall I think it detracts form the AMV. (not by much though)

I found a lot of good AMVs, which I don't think were posted here yet. I will post in this format:

Creator
Artist - Song
Youtube link (if any)
animemusicvideos link

and just because it doesn't have a youtube link doesn't mean you shouldn't check it out. All of them are worth watching.
And btw personally I think the "Behind Blue Eyes" one is particularly awesome.

Mr.Blonde
System of a Down - Roulette

tmarcelle
Blue October - What If We Could
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=135059

sirrah-chan
The Who - Behind Blue Eyes

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=154126

drzlobjul
Berserk OST - Gats

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=130581

Da0s
Nightwish - While Your Lips Are Still Red
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=155413

The Prince wrote:Has there ever been an AMV done to the tune of "Furious Angels", it seems like the song was made for one of these?
Here you go. I found this post while searching if these had been posted already.
sceleratus
Rob Dougan - Furious Angels

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=138283

turboneko
Hans Zimmer - Bare Island

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=17037

edit: damn I was gonna delete me post above this and put it with this one but I can't delete it anymore.

This thread seems to have died a bit. I was going to start doing some Berserk AMV's but my comp decided to crap out on me. So with a new motherboard, processor, graphics card, and ram(and minus $500) I'm hoping to get things started soon.

Oh, and I found the best Berserk AMV yet. And by best, I mean worst.

But let me rant for a bit. I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate Linkin Park/Fort Minor/*insert overused played out music here* AMV's. Those songs have nothing to do with the anime they're put in with. I don't know what some of these guys are thinking. "Let me put in random clips with some cool music! Yeah that'll be awesome!" :stupid:

# Edit #
I'm also looking if theres any part in the anime where Guts jumps, or looks like hes going to jump. Its critical for one song that I'm trying to use.

Yep they really are shit.

I don't have the anime available to me right now, but I think he jumps over a castle wall after he assassinates Julius. I'm guessing it's in episode 9 or 10.

Yeah, and in the same apisode (I guess), there's a scene where he jumps from one building to another.

Also, on episode 22/23, at the eclipse when he breaks that demon horn and uses it as weapon, there's a scene that he jumps and looks both sides while on air that is quite used in AMVs.
Well, still at the eclipse there might be something else, but I just can't rememer right now
