Don't say that. Don't you dare saying that again. You will jinx it and we will be forced to kill you. Don't make us do that.
I am probably on a good trip, cause this can't possibly be real.......2 chapters in less than a month!!!

Man, this shit is so good I wont pass it around

Me and mah boy after hearing that with 295 being released on the 28th, hypothetically 2 could turn into 3.

Believe it or not, this is actual webcam footage taken the final moments of a "lurker" upon having had just stumbled upon this thread; taken at around 12:21 am MST.
In case this might help in identifying this poor soul, for the sake of notifying family and loved ones (not sure if this might help or not).......But based off cross-referencing recent user IP info, my diagnostics matched this footage to a computer belonging to an individual frequenting gay porn sights under the common user-name of BlackAx(ss).

That's it we are all spoiled for good
Thanks EG
On a more serious side I am surprised by how much integrity this prince-assassin has. Right now he seems to be the only one who senses the danger from both the Emperor and Griffith. A very unpredictable turn of events, and I love his line "do you really want to entrust that unattainable human knowledge to him (Griffith)". In the world of false gods skeptics and madmen (like Guts) seem to be the only way out.
I also think that Miura should restrain himself from drawing double page drawings of that Griffith dude, it is getting kind of gay.

Awesome guys! Its March Maddness! 3 releases in 1 month? Ka-razy!
Interesting to see what happens with Siliat on which side he will choose. On another note, where will all the Midlanders go? I guess somewhere within Griffiths troops?

Re: Berserk 294 - Exodus
Great chapter.
[spoiler]The Bakiraka clan made a wise choice, they will probably be wiped out by Griffith but better that then serving under him

Re: Berserk 294 - Exodus
As always thanks to everyone for all the work that goes into making a release.
As for this chapter, this is the first time something just doesn't seem right with the plot.
A heretofore unknown Kushan traitor shows up just in time to help the Midlanders escape. Silat catches them and is convinced by the traitor not to kill 'em all and redeem his clan's honor, but to let them go.
I really would have thought there would have been at least a couple of panels way back to introduce this traitor or the idea that the Kushan aren't one monolithic anti-midland entity. I'm not sure what needed to be done to make me think Silat would be persuaded to let them go. Something just seems really off to me. Am I missing something? If so please tell me what it is.

Re: Berserk 294 - Exodus
The Kushan Band of the Hawk member needed no introduction as his character and identity are inconsequential. It was already estabished several volumes ago that many Kushan that were defeated by Griffith were joining his ranks and fighting alongside him.jistanidiot wrote:I really would have thought there would have been at least a couple of panels way back to introduce this traitor or the idea that the Kushan aren't one monolithic anti-midland entity. Secondly, Silat was so easily persuaded to let the Midlanders go because he has already been shown what a terrible monster the Emperor is, and in his heart had pretty much already let go of his allegiance to him. I think his appearance here was mostly as a plot device to introduce the Midlanders to the idea that Griffith might not turn out to be the savior they're hoping he his. Interestingly, Silat seems to be the only character so far besides Guts and his crew to be wary of both Ganishka as well as Griffith. This could be a foreshadowing of a possible allegiance between Silat's Bakirka clan and the company Guts is slowly building.

Re: Berserk 294 - Exodus
Thats what i thought too. And also, Silat is also one of the only characters that recognizes Guts, and has some memory of his role as a Hawk. Don't forget, he was almost as famous as Griffith once, so i wonder if his lack of presence will be noticed by any of the Lords. This could be a foreshadowing of a possible allegiance between Silat's Bakirka clan and the company Guts is slowly building.

I think the next chapters will contain a report to Griffith and then a lot of praise of said person.
